Ive never been so impressed with a basketball game, even after Nba Jam ,Live and 2k... I just love the fast pace... I always wished this wouldve came to a port.. it's was definitely before it's time when it first came to the arcade

I have this Rom for the MAME Emulator, but I don't think there's an emulator that actually works at the moment, which SUCKS because I would play this over 2K any day... I lived this game when it was at the arcades!

my all time fav basketball game. they had a version from konami on original ps it think. the graphics sucked bad and they used nba teams instead

You would need a supergun and the arcade board. I have 2 of the arcade boards in my store at Jamma Nation X.

Nope. A supergun is like a portable arcade cabinet. You plug the board into the supergun and it displays on your TV.

@1974superdry What do you mean by low quality exactly? Do you mean the graphics have glitches like ghosting or does it look pixelated on the LCD? If you plan to play your arcade boards on an LCD I would suggest getting an XRGB2 (not 3). It takes the RGB signals and converts it to be compatible with your LCD and looks great.

@SupremeJudge Yes, it looks pixelated on the LCD. I bought a convertor for my TV from China. The graphic is a little bit better than before but I'm not sure that it same as original graphic. The seller did not tell me about it when I buy it. I also have Seibu Cup Soccer which graphic is worst than Run and Gun 2. It is 300 x 400 which is not compartiable for my Convertor. I just played thiis Supergun for few times, then It does not work now. Thank you for your replying.

It was called NBA Give N' Go. It was nowhere NEAR as good as Run n' Gun.

The animation has gotten better using pre-rendered CG sprites, but the personality (goofiness?) and detail from the first game's hand drawn sprite is gone.

As far as I know there is no working version on MAME. If you want to play it you have to buy the arcade PCB.
