I couldn't figure out some of the lyrics before I watched this.
I thought he said something along the lines of: "Johnny's suit's a dollar, and he's arrived." (2:26-2:30) Now it makes MUCH more sense.

Love this interpretation. It is very reminiscent of music videos of the early 80s, and that made it that much more enjoyable.

I love this song so fucking much but I don't think I'll ever understand it. What part of you is actually attending the party if you leave your body and soul at the door?
This video has a pleasing crappy 80s quality that is quite appropriate. Could use some steadier camera work though.
