  • nice lights!!!

  • @4020just why thank you!

  • @Mfoehrkolb21 Hey I found your build thread in Honda Tech but none of the pics are viewable anymore. Could you go back and edit your thread or send the pictures my way? I'm wanting to retrofit some TSX projectors into my 1995 Integra and could use as many DIY articles as I can get. Feel free to send me a message if you prefer. I appreciate any help you can offer me.

  • @nismopower322 the thread got locked up because "advertising".

  • doesnt this gen of integra come with projectors standard?

  • @LamboK28992 they come with projectors but for halogen bulbs... not HID. HID projectors a an entire breed of their own.

  • so what would i need to buy to do the retrofit on by 96 integra

  • Damn! nice... so where did you get your projectors from? what do you mean by color mod? 0000k?

  • hidplanetDOTcom -- Color modding is putting a space in between the bulb and shield that isn't there from stock. This is theory creates extra color with in the cut off. Bulbs are 4300k osram.

  • Oh.. ok. Cool thanks man.

  • your rotation looks a bit off. good job doing a retro though

  • These were the first ones i did... ALSO i would like to add. I aligned them without having them lit up lol.

I got a ticket for driving without a front end on my car and i had to go in next day. So i had to do my retro without my ballast or bulbs on hand/connected. But yeah, they are not perfect, but i do MUCH MUCH better work now. Let me restate. These were my first pair EVER and i had no way to light them up to line them up.

  • Lol my throw out bearing is doing the same thing ... nice hid's

  • by some divine miracle my acura vigor fits the tsx projector almost perfect with almost no modification to the headlamp

  • Cool retrofit, I just did my 98 integra as well. I am actually planning to get ebay clear halos soon to get improvement on the cutoff. To be honest, I am also very "OEM" myself. But the thing with the aftermarket ebay lenses actually improve the cutoff not hurt it. It's only rice if it's for looks and no performance. In this situation, it is definitely for performance.

  • The cut off seems kinda blurry for the clear lense....looking 1:23 into the video....what year TSX did they come off of? I have 05 TSX into 97 Accord with TYC projector housing, same washer mod but they seem to have sharper cut off....ill need to get some pics up

  • they are 05 tsx projectors. What you need to take into consideration is Integra's crappy circle headlights. It distorts the beam alot, and also has the 3 lines in them for the halogen beam pattern. My car was over 50-75 feet away when this was done also. Was quite far to be honest.

  • thats the other thing i figured....do they have aftermarket or replacement for those?

  • i am OEM all down to the last nut and bolt on my car. They do have EBAY halo lights that have the clear lens. BUT! That's not OEM, so that ricer crap isn't going on my car.

  • Can you tell me how to retrofit a 2002 honda accord??

  • the angle isnt as wide as i thought it would be,... BUt Nice color mod!! you used the 2 #8 washer trick?? i bought a pair of the TSX's for my turbo lancer... cant wait to do my retro fir.. was it Hard?? or just time... or just consuming? also your set up.. are you using a kit or parting together OEM stuff??

  • The lighting is actually really wide, i light up 3-4 lanes easy @ night. The retro is decently hard, you just have to take your time and make precise measurements. I put my own OEM HID kit together. Just bought OEM ballast, NAME BRAND bulbs, and the tsx clear lens projectors. The bulbs are actually something that you should never go cheap on, always buy name brand. Phillips or Osram are the best.

  • thanks for the advice bro.. i never knew the retrofit community was so big... but just for starters i went for a 4300K Aftermarket kit w/ my tsx retro... because its hard to pick out quality shit on ebay.. everyone wants to seriously outbid you for oem parts.. but while the cheep stuff is in.. i WILL be collecting OEM stuff... once all oem is collected ill put them in the tsx's and move the cheap stuff to a fog kit that ill make lol... i be sure to come back to your post to show u the vid :))

  • Def. show me how it turns out. Im actually going to doing some more retro's for integras now. I got 4sets of 98+ headlights atm. I am selling these in this video and gonna get possibly a diff. projector just to try it out. I will end up coming back to TSX though. They are sweet. I have a build thread on Honda-Tech with tons and tons of pictures. I got my Osram 4300 for 55 bucks new on Ebay. I smashT the buy it now button lol. Was such a good price.

PM me and i can get you a link to the thread

  • Nope s2k are.

  • that sounds like your spider gear....my teg make the same noise!...b carefull how u push it cause it will blow out on ya...i suggest putting lucas and o.e tranny fluid.....

  • I had this problem before not only in my old integra but my buddies GSR swapped EK. It's a common problem with aftermarket clutch kits for some reason. I was told to stay OEM on the bearing, and shouldn't have a problem for a while. If im not mistaken, a honda doesn't even have a "spider gear". I was under the impression it's only in RWD cars differential. IF im not mistaken.

  • oh so sexy

  • I know! This was done a while ago, and the osram bulbs alrdy color shifted. This was the first time i did a retro, but they turned out nice. I'm way better @ them now :D

  • Haha yah dude, I love my TSX projectors. I think that the TSX have the brightest HID's on the road, IMO.
