I think that the reason this video looks fake is because of the weird camera zooming and the way the image is sometimes out of focus.

It just doesn't look genuine.

Other commenters said that they were there when the video was shot, or that they have seen the ramp in real life.

Tell us how the board felt like when riding it and the making of it Alis, if it is trye that is.. :)

Fake...When he drops back in at the :28 second mark he all of a sudden is about 5 feet the opposite direction of his momentum when he dd the plant.

its real because if you freeze frame it at 0:29 seconds you can see his board is totally white, when previously before his board had a graphic on it and when he releases his right had off of the board you can see where his fingers whipped away the paint... also his "wheels" are created the same way as paint roller covers are so it would leave a perfect streak if even about of pressure was applied.. I know i paint for a living....

I'm gonna say they painted it first & shot the ramp, filmed the broom wipe, let it all dry, skated it until they matched the tracks ok, masked and tweaked the tracks in front of him during editing. Camera shake, audio, and lens splatter also added during editing. The board was painted white to show the spray, the trucks were covered to make them look like rollers and edited for the close ups.

Pretty cool though!

But paint rollers don't roll that fast, and trucks have to be able to turn : )

I work with Computer Generated Images. To actually put CGI into a scene like that and make it look that good is not even worth the ...time or money it would take! And considering he put paint inside the rollers as well, there would def be enough paint to spread across that amount of surface area. Also, the man at the end of the video with a push broom was pushing water across the floor. If the paint was water based, it would easily be pushed away with a broom and some water.

2. Pro skaters have amazing balance, so the paint on the board wouldn't make him fall off... sort of like riding after rain.

3. You can see the white paint on his hands after he grabs the board. (Too many details for it to be CGI)

4. This is NOT a professional filmer, so amateur filming, zooming, and focusing are to be expected

@tigerboy1227 ....that fuzzines you're talking about it's called Blur and it happens when cameras (NO MATTER THE QUALITY) records in autofocus, it gets blurry because the subject changes position in relation to the camera position and it has to readjust the focus.
