As a sugesstion to the violist, in the beginning when the viola has the eight rest and then the double stops, wait just a hair longer to fill up the sound. It goes dead for a second

Thanks for the suggestion. I fooled you because I did not play the viola on this piece, instead I transposed the part to violin 3. What you heard was 3 violins and a cello! When we first learned this piece I was not very good at viola, since then I have started playing viola a lot more on our quartet pieces, but I am too lazy to relearn this one on viola.
