I would have liked the DLC... if it didn't make the game crash more often.. but what are ya gonna do? :P One tip to make the game crash less often is to carry less stuff (try only carrying a few guns), although crashing in less than 30 mins in Point Lookout is almost unavoidable :(... STILL dispite the crashing it's still a good game with great DLC.

you steal the cure and give it to the slaves who can use it to create a better life for themselves.

What makes The Pitt dangerous is that it lets you realize that, if you're dependent on equips/armors to survive, you won't survive in The Pitt's Steelyard as they throw you there almost naked (1 DR armor and weapons with very limited ammo anyone?). Trogs are as fast and as numerous as Feral Ghouls. With the exception of Fledglings, they are all tough. Fully-equipped, no problems. Naked? Well...
