I am going to customize one of these because I can get one that doesn't run for a few hundred bucks, get it running, and do the mods I want to it, and paint it for less than a brand new Polaris. I can carry 3 passengers or two passengers and a deer or several large gobblers and my dog (or coyotes because I take their pelts). Plus, large trucks can't get some places that are tight - Sammis are smaller than Neons.

not saying you have the money for anything expesive because a lot of people dont. probly something like 2-6 inches wider, so they dont cut into the mud and dig trenches. plus as you can notice most of the tread is only on the side. nice jeep though:)

@andrew1jl I disagree. With a truck as light as a Suzuki I would go with a narrower tire like he has. 32/9.5R15 or alike. They cut through the slop and bite in on the firm base underneath. remembering Suzuki's have a narrower wheel base as well so side lugs on the tires grip the insides of the ruts to provide better traction.

A Wrangler Rubicon from the FACTORY can do most of Moab, a proving ground for many a brand. So research first before you hate, or STFU.

I used to laugh at Samis. Until I sat a couple hours one Saturday on the trail and watched about 20 trucks maneuver up the falls just past Deep Creek. The two trucks that made it look easy were the Zuks. Perfect combo of light weight and short wheelbase = bouncing over the tuffest rock gardens.

I love a built Sami, but I gotta say I out perform my buddies with my YJ wrangler. I think the biggest thing is that torqy-ass 6 I got under the hood. YJs and Samis arent a whole lot different. Both have same sort of suspention, leaf springs. But that inline 6 takes the cake when it comes to turning tires, and climbing hills.
