gold stars is basically a sixth star.

you have to be playing on expert and get an amazing score by having very few misses and using your overdrive well.

i remember hearing the gold star cutoff is usually like 1.5x the 5 star score.

ok hardest songs(in order):blackened, the perfect drug, RTtH, blinded by fear, WGFA, next to you, dont fear the reaper. and god damn tom sawyer and flirtin with dissaster are both easy songs, idk what the fuss is about

Difficulty really depends on the person. Flirtin' with Disaster is in 3 instead of 4, and gives people problems. Tom Sawyer has many tricky fills and odd feels. For me, blinded by fear tops all others in difficulty. Every song I've gotten at least 99% on; 90% is my highest on blinded by fear. It depends on your personal strengths.

Well, I struggled my way through it my only really paying attention to the blues and the kicks at first. That got me through with a 4 star, but that wasn't good enough for me. One day, I sat down and it just clicked. Envision it as the main part (the blue and kick three times, then the blue and red) except add a red between each blue. One of my main problems with it at first was going far to fast.

Yeah uhm, run to the hills is hardest, there is no contest here. It doesn't matter how easy the rolls look on a youtube video, it takes quite a bit of work if your not a practied drummer to build up the muscles to do it, it is extremely fast. This is probably 3rd hardest song, behind RttH and WGFA.

Have to agree with you there. Since I didn't buy the PS3 myself, if I had the money for that or a 360, I honestly don't know which one I'd buy. I've always been a Sony fanboy, but the 360 definitely has a headstart for content as far as game selection goes.
