the lowest string, the E string needs to be down tuned from an E to a D. (The low E string is the fattest one, not to be confused with the high E string, the skinniest string)

Yeah, just barely off in the intro, try adding the G string on your chords except for D5. For G5 add 7 on the G string and for B5 add 11 on the G string. For the chorus, try, on G5, on the D string to add 7. I don't use tabs, but check out pnkrocker's on ultimate-guitar dot com, Guitar Pro format.
