@HaloSpartanG13 In the begining that's what I thought. This guy deathcrawled all the way to the endzone when he should have at least stopped halfway. He put all his heart into trusting his coach and crawling all the way to the end. I stared adversity in the face and overcame his doubt. I'm sorry you found it boring, but I truly think you missed out on a message. Take it for what it's worth and I hope you give it another chance.
@HaloSpartanG13 It's not delusional, it's about choices and freedom of concept. I tried to show you that there's more to the movie and I left that choice to you. So what if you disagree with me? It's your choice. Life would not be so interesting if we all agreed on everything. That's the freedom of concept. To have a difference of opinion.
This is one of my favorite movies and it goes to show you that anything can happen when you believe. It makes me believe more when i play tennis matches that i can win and as long as i give my best that is all that matters.
I just love how the further Brock gets the quieter the team gets. Then the end when the guy with the goatee says "alright who's next?" we all cracked up at that.
@spider1g5 Take it for what it is, but it is my truest belief that what Brock did would be considered nothing compared to what Christ did. Because Jesus deathcrawled his cross all the way to the hill of skulls for our sins.
I don't do football or any real team sport for that matter (except baseball) but every time I watch this movie and this particular scene I'm reminded to never surrender in my Christian walk with God.........
This movie is a motivation to me because it shows me that even if the times are hard, i can achieve anything with God, perseverance, and lots of love and support.
my football team does that and one of my freinds made it all the way across the feild... it was seriously one of the most amazing things i have ever seen
Have you given up on your goals? Have you given your absolutely best? Don't give up on your goals when you know you can do so much more....BELIEVE and make the PUSH!!!! This is an example of giving your best...keep moving...not thinking about how much time you have left...don't quit....give your VERY BEST!!!!! Make this your Best DAY EVER!!!!!!
Incredibly motivating clip that really makes the point that we are only contributing half (or less) of our capability. Thanks for sharing it guys! (David Hance, Founder, Quotivate)
I never get enough of this scene - a great movie too - same with the other ones. I'm embedding this on a social community. The picture quality could be a lot better. Nevertheless, great inspiration!
@Boodro2008 He specifically said that everything in this movie they actually had to do and film, including this. The cast was the church themselves so this was probably a hard scene to film
the best part of the movie, i may not do football, but in my kick boxing workout (which i find more extreme than football) thinking of this sceen helps ALOT. more coaches should take the believers way of training :P
@SoulShrowden, indeed. Coach Taylor, instead of belittling, insulting, or demeaning his players, kept encouraging them and telling them to do their very best, and in so doing drew out an inner strength they didn't even know they possessed.
Look at me. U carried a 140lbs man to the end zone
Coach!
Don't tell me you can't do more of what u been showin me!

An important distinction.

@shadowfox1383 What's the message of the film?
Oh, praying to god should give you new cars, a better sex life, more money, and back to back championships? Yeahhh, thought so.
It's a shitty movie. Deal with it.
