Ive been black for 43 years and I perceive lighter skin blacks as less threatening than those of much darker hue. The ability to speak the Kings English is more socially acceptable in white society, than Ebonics. For that reason every black person has a white speaking voice we use around white folks. MLK actually WAS a Republican while he was alive, and he would continue to be today. His dream was not to have a black president (liberals can read any of his speeches if they don't believe it) His dream was for equality. True equality. That man would be judged by the content of his character, not the color of his skin. MLK was truly an inspiring leader, and it's sad the direction the country took with affirmative action and other "social justice" policies that he stood against.
