Nice posting. Did you install an OSX version of MythTV or did you install the XBMC MythTV plugin? I'm interested in detailed installation instructions. Thanks!
how do you get the remote working? i can get mythfrontend working but the remote isn't doing anything. it's just stuck on "select your preferred language"
Think you will find there that the Apple TV will be running the Mythtv frontend think Puckyprint will be running a Myth backend server in the back ground... be the same thing what I am doing with a Mac Mini, don't think there is a mythtv backend server for OS X your best off having a Linux backend server with loads of disk space hidden away... runs very nicely.
192728- Genius, the reason for MythTV is because you can RECORD, PAUSE, RW, ETC. Dumbass. What's next, you go to school and learn about more than crappy PCs or grammar?
seriously, out of the box, i'm unconvinced of the usefulness vs. cost of an appleTV. it *must* be hacked in order for it to be worth something other than being a pretty little thing. its quite beta still, IMO.

Hey nynepac, I think that means you are missing some fonts that the MythTV app requires. Just a guess really.

How did you install MythTV?
I've used the Patchstick as well, so that part is done. Another thing I did was boot Mac OS X from an external HD , didn't open my ATV or anything.
