Its refreshing to still see many folks involved with night flying since my night flying articles were published and hailed as the first anybody tried that. It was in Model Airplane News magazine 25 years ago.
Helis were new and marginal then. No gyros and lots of crashes. Today the leds, gyros, cheater switches, and lipos are fantastic.
Bummer about the crash. My motto" Every flight is a test & every crash is a Lesson!"
