  • Oh Wow! I remember this commercial

  • I STILL HAVE THAT THING! it doesnt work, but we still keep it around

  • I can so imagine my Dad doing this.

  • Masood should definitely stay being a postman. :P

  • Make that 75000 songs in your pocket :)

  • a thousand songs, in your pocket

  • ITS MASSOOD FROM EASTENDERS !! :D :D :D

  • That is an indian man, not Jeff Goldblum.

  • haaaaaaa

  • The song he is listening to is called "Take California" by "Propellerheads" on their 1998 album "Decksandrumsandrockandroll" if anyone was wondering. You can tell when he drags it from iTunes to his iPod.

  • This sais more about the song than the ipod.

  • Yeah... EVERYTHING was better in the good ol' days.. please..

  • haha yeh it's not jeff goldblum, this guys name is nitin ganatra... i have his showreel at home for some reason and this was on it! lol :)

  • Don't you ever tell Jeff Goldblum to stop dancing. Who the fuck do you think you are?

  • okai..... that isnt jeff goldblum lol thats a British Asian actor, whos not been so successful, but is/has been on Eastenders (a famous tv drama show in england).. thought i just add that lol

  • I love how this only gets 18,000 views. Die Apple!

  • looks like hes doing the melbourne shuffle lol

  • Damn Look At The First Ever Ipod.

Now Look At The Ipod Touch.

Its Amazing And Scary How Technoligy Can Change So Fast.

  • OMG thats Masood from EastEnders!

  • yeah that's not jeff goldblum...

  • Wow that thing was huge!

  • thats what she said

  • it's... not... jeff... goldblum

  • that's the joke.

  • @kdude4781kand thx for clarification. I am not hip to your generation's sense of humor. And to me, it doesn't seem so long ago that the walkman was the height of new technology !

  • Wow, Apple has made significant strides in advertising since 2001.

  • moonwalk 0:43

  • ... and then ¡¡A TYRANOSAURUS REX ATE HIM, AND HE LIVES!!

  • The first iPod was 2001

  • So..iPods came out in 2005 or 2006? It wasnt long ago but I dont keep track of these things as I do not usually have technological equipment. I remember when everybody almost in class suddenly had an ipod and I wondering what the hell has the world invented now.

  • :38 "I'm gonna take this show on the road!"

  • definitly not jeff

  • only 1,000 ? !

  • thats not jeff goldblum

  • Lmao. Thick. My 2007 ZEN Vision:M is almost that thick. xD And that's not Jeff Goldblum. Jeff's way hotter.

  • atleast the Zen V M was durable, man I dropped it so many times it even got a chip in its casing, still works to this day lol. The older iPods were similar, they were durable, the HDD's themselves didn't get alot smaller, Apple just ditched any "unnecassary" shock absorbers and such and packed the components inside better, therefore also increasing the risk of breaking, my dad's iPod video 30GB screen cracked from a fall onto the floorboards. Too bad Creative stopped the ZVM line tho :-( Archos?

  • They did?? Well I got mine just in time, then. Still love it to bits, purely because of the changeable menus and wallpapers, and the fact that its lasted this long. Even though when I whip it out and everyone else has their iPods, iPhones and various other iCraps, I look like a schmuck. Not in the slightest way embarrassing, though. PROUD. Lmao. Do you have yours still?? x

  • Propellerheads!!!

  • thats not jeff goldblum

  • The story is true - sound quality is going down hill - but that is what technology does. It takes the essential of what the user wants and gives it to them cheaply. An LP running through a 8 ohm speaker was always going to sounds better than any format of digital recording where the concept of sampling is at fault. The problem is - modern kids don't know what good sound sounds like - it isn't a technical specification - its a feeling - and that isn't measurable!

  • "An LP running through a 8 ohm speaker was always going to sounds better than any format of digital recording where the concept of sampling is at fault."

FLAC through a good pair of headphones sounds just about the same, though, and it's more durable than a record.

  • Will Bryston's new external DAC improve the sound of my CD player? Or am I better off buying the Cambridge 840C?

  • What kind of CD player are you using that lets you use an external DAC??

  • Rotel RCD-1072

  • You never replied :(

  • I'm not an audiophile, I'm not really qualified to talk about DACs and stuff like that.

    I just do compression.

  • Cool. Cheers

  • Better buy an ipod touch

  • Better buy a Neko Audio D100.

  • Butter bye

  • @AgesOfYou827 omg so beautyful thats so what we agree wht so couldent put it betta oursleves u keep byin CDs cassetts n records AWSOME STUFF THATS WHAT REAL MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT

  • @AgesOfYou827 I'm 15 and I grew up with MP3's, CD's and iPods. Yet I'm nearly an audiophile, perfect sound is a must. So please, don't say modern kids don't know, the ones that don't know don't have sufficient audio interest. Kinda like how DVD quality is good for some while Bluray is a must for others.

  • A 1,000 songs!

  • i´ve got a ipod classic 80 gig and i dont have 1000 songs! :) i dont think eny1 likes 1000 songs!

  • i have 25,000 songs and i like most of them. maybe you've never met anyone who loves music.

  • I love music. In fact, most of my money has been going into the hi-fi system.

I'm looking at the Rega Apollo...have you read anything on that?

  • Why have 80 gig if you dont even want 1000 songs?

  • I dont think that's Jeff Goldblum.....

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man things changed.lol

  • I still have my first Generation iPod. Incredibly it still works perfectly
