P.S.Im from Poland my english is bad :-(

  • 4 people thinked the solo its on guitar

  • I love that bass.. :)

  • hey man! amazing job, where did you get the backing track? sorry if my english is not good.

  • what bass is that?

  • I kinda missed the bend at the begining..but great.

  • Just because he doesn't use the traditional technique doesn't mean shit. There are many bass players that play whatever way they want and are good at it. If it sounds good, looks good, then it is good.

  • thats pretty good. dont listen to these no lifers

  • better than me :) good job

  • Is there a cut on 0:15 or you move to fast...??

  • Awful technique. Alternate fingers.

  • @cursedswordsman - Awful technique? Alternate fingers? Check out Geddy Lee mate, he plays with one finger alot of the time (his noisy bastard as he calls it) and hes insane!

Hows your cover of this solo coming on anyway....???

  • @JacoBrownolymetal666 i like your left hand tecnique but try to use your third finger as well to play easier just sayin, awsome cover :D

  • @JacoBrownolymetal666 Must agree, didn't like the technique, but it sounded ok to me. That's important.

  • @cursedswordsman I didn't hear anything wrong with it. As long as he hits the notes correctly I don't see a reason to rag on his technique. I've seen a guy on youtube somewhere that rocks out with a thumb pick, and does it pretty well. To each their own.

  • @cursedswordsman awful comment

  • @cursedswordsman you sir, are a pompus wanker

  • @cursedswordsman He played it correctly and well!

  • @cursedswordsman How is it awful if he nailed the solo? If it works it works!

  • @cursedswordsman What does it matter what technique he uses? He perfected the solo? Show me your technique!

  • brutal cliff would be proud

  • For how long have you been playing the bass?

  • 'Twas good, it'd probably sound a little better if you were to bend the note at the beginning, just sayin'

  • @hojima shut the fuck up an let him play the way HE plays!!!

  • Use two fingers.

  • Yamaha RBX170?

  • @cursedswordsman No, Spector Rebop.

  • I was under the impression he played it the octave lower with a harmonizer or something? I feel like I could play this more easily after watching you do it ha ha

  • Nice bass great cover cool twist

  • this is badass got your own little twist on it wich is awesom

  • Nice.

  • Dude, is that a Stewart Spector? Aw, sweet, man.

  • What is all ur gear! That's quite the killer sound!

  • I love your bass!!!!!!

  • Where did you get the tabs? Been lookin' all over the internets

  • what camera did you use to record that

  • Comment removed

  • nice dude x)

  • It's good

    but that's not correct 100%

fucking props for making it cool though

  • @TheBurntoast Check out my cover, thank you :-)

  • skills +1

  • Nice work! Are you playing along with a midi file? That's a cool Spector, too! Keep it up!

  • \m/

  • i love your cover to the solo, i think it's amazing.

i have bass big muff too, but how did you acutally got that sounds?

it's like high light distortion or something like this, with harmonies.

    can you tell me please?

  • @alongani - Hi, Thanks for your comment, as a said above the big muff Pi is blended in with the build in wah effect on my roland cube 30 amp (which mostly gives it that cutting edge sound to it). The settings on the big muff itself a cant really remember but the toggle switch was on the dry mode so that my clean signal was still there and I just added a little of the tone and about halfway on the sustain. Remember that when you mix in the wah it was completely change your sound of distortion.

  • @JacoBrownolymetal666 and a metal muff also

  • its guitar pro backing track lol

  • F**king good cover! :D

  • Lovin' that Spector bro! l

  • what settings did you use on the EHX big muff ? (i mean mode, tone, sustain)

  • Excelelnt playign man! I really enjoyed watching that!

  • do u have tabs for this

  • nice, i cant seem to figure out how to play this solo tho

  • Try Doing some pull-off , and add some speed whit it and your solo will be perfect

  • Thanks for your comment!

The pickups on the bass are the ones that come with the Spector rebop which are the EMG-HZs (passive pups) with a very active Spector tonepump.

  • n what kind of pickups do u use? those have a rly great sound

  • Its an Electro Harmonix bass big muff pi (the green one).

The distortion is blended in with a little bit of the wah effect I have on my little Roland cube 30 amp.

  • @JacoBrownolymetal666

Nearly, son. Keep trying and you'll get it right eventually.

  • @JacoBrownolymetal666 ha, i got that too. what settings did you use on it while playing on this video? btw, awesome job!

  • what kind of distortion pedal or w/e did you use?

  • Hi, Thanks for your comment!

Sorry I have tried to look for the tab that I used to help me play the solo but I cant seem to find it :( I remember only being able to find the very start of the solo because the last run at the end I just had to make up.

For the comment that Smoothbassline gave, the bass is a Spector Rebop.

  • nice 5 stars

    do you have tabs

  • great job - nice bass what make is it?

  • Nice man!

  • Good job!! I need to learn that lol!

  • nice 5*
