@voteforcanman it wasn't a publicity stunt. Brock out of all people doesn't care about what other people think, at times it seems like he doesn't even care about his fans, which i wouldn't doubt. He was a great football player in college, he said he wanted the money and he figured he could handle it. But out of all the things he has attempted to accomplish, he has admitted he couldn't hang in the NFL.

I am pretty sure he did not play college football and if he did he was never drafted by an NFL team so he could not be that good. I repect Brock for trying to do many things.

Brock never played football his whole life and he still recorded 4 tackles in two pre-season games (not bad for a guy who never puts helmet)… he declined an invitation to play in NFL Europa.

Thus, he became UFC champion and was an elite wrestler (Olympic and WWF/E style).

@Blaker2013, Blackburn was one of the leaders of the Giants defense this year! He is very smart, had good pass-coverage and is still fast enough at his position! He only played 5 regular season games in 2011; but, mysteriously, Giants allowed fewer points when he was on the field.

Dave Tollefson is a good pass-rusher and very efficient on the specials teams. He played behind JPP, Tuck (…); he should have been a starter anywhere else!

You can’t be mediocre when you stepped in a NFL field!

NFL legend Jerry Rice did not run the 40 faster. NBA superstar Kobe Bryant has a 38" vertical leap and Dwayne Wade has 36". All three of those men are 80-100lbs less than Lesnar. The reason Lesnar didn't make it in the NFL was due to a lack of experience and a bad motorcycle crash, not athleticism

Sure he was given a major push possibly too fast but when you debut on UFC with 1 win to fight the former UFC Heavyweight Champ Frank Mir and make him look bad it kind of warrants a major push.
