  • The 90s were an amazing era

  • I find it appropriated that you used Foo Fighters for this.

  • Kings of the 90s!

  • giving love up to the greatest!!

  • biggie free styleing lyrics off the top but tupacs poetic lyrics form the heart and kurt was the king of i dont give a fuk attitude

  • there were some features that most black youths idolized kurt cobain and white youths idolized tupac shakur

  • both kurt cobain and tupac shakur were the favorite music icons of both black and white youths across the united states.

  • r..ip pac and kurt!

  • "TO BE BIG YOU MUST DREAM BIG"-Tupac Shakur.THE DREAM IS SO BIG,BUT GREATEST COMPLIMENT I EVER COULD DREAM OF...FROM DAVE: So you are mysterious and a talented video producer.Thank you for that video,I was totally foul & Dave made me laugh about your show.Your Channel is very unique too.The glow of light around APPROPRIATE was Kurt. Other worldly......if I do this right, me & mine are out of this ghetto & no more empty bellies. I FEEL LIKE I'M ON A CLOUD & I DON'T EVER WANT TO FALL AGAIN,PEACE

  • two of the best to ever do music hands down GENIUSES!

  • and have no video to them is proof they dont care much for fame.also for those saying that pj jumped deck when the money was getting good should know that their debut album came out a couple of months before grunge was even popularized. about tupac and biggie, i honestly like them both almost equally, but when it comes down to lyrical ability, BIG got it all.

  • @nirvanafairie I DIDN'T WRITE THAT ARGUMENT, IT WAS LEFT BY THE DUDE BELOW ON MY CHANNEL....OPEN FORUM HERE. PEACE:)

  • this dude posted this debate, PLEASE respect his argument :

    KRS1LEGEND

tbh i think nirvana are much more commercial than PJ. nirvana have released more singles and music videos than PJ have in their entire career (thats 7 years for nirvana and 20 years for jam) videos and singles are usually the best way to get yourself airplayon the radio, and seeing as pearl jams two biggest songs, Black and Yellow Ledbetter, were never even released as singles

  • Pearl Jam > Nirvana

    Notorious BIG > 2Pac

    yes im an ass

  • @KRS1LEGEND I wrote to you on your channel, please feel free to continue your theory here...I'm an ass too so we should get along well:) I disagree a bit, my argument being- that is like comparing product to artist. Check out this dude's channel though, he has a STATEMENT I AM BACKING 100%...

  • the two.. really were two sides of the same coin..

they were one in the same. just as good as each other..

    :)

  • @GrungeMetalRocker Yes, well said!! Thank you. Nicole.

  • Well done. I enjoyed the video. Both Kurt and Tupac were extremely talented artists from broken homes. Its too bad that there are barely any good REAL rock bands on the scene today. Kurt and Tupac were the last of their kind. Peace Love Empathy

  • i love it,,i tell ya they both do have one thing in common ,,they media watched them one kurt was a true revolutionary when it came to speaking out getting the blood boiling you think parents wanted they're children following him they were pissed cause kurt stood for rebellion as did tupac,,,look how both could rev up the crowds make them lose it and hear what they sang/rap about people knew this was ours kurt and pac were geniuses ,,i love it,,great job

  • @mivoiosi YES!! You are well written. Thank you so much for UNDERSTANDING..both were bringing the same message just delivered in a different package. Some of my punk rock buddies on here are not 100% well informed on Tupac, unless you truly felt the wave in1991 of top 40 commercial music with no purpose other than feeding the kiddie's what MTV felt was appropriate/all the way up to the out-right attack on gangster rap banning NWA from MTV, CRASH,break in two one grunge, one rap: go to 2nd-

  • @mivoiosi cont...Serious truth:Kurt & Tupac are more powerful after death because my son was born in 1993, brought up on Nirvana then by 1995- Tupac had made it to the Mid West per MTV, & I remember him bobbing up & down to the beat of California Love...the realization that these two completely different artists were BOTH generation Icon's of my time & now my son's & ect...Came to me when I looked at my boy with his Tupac tee & me in my Nirvana tee,I started a video to erase genre & race lines.

  • After the deaths of these beautiful, talented, & irreplaceable men, music stalled- but behind the scenes Dr. Dre worked up one magnificent & ABSOLUTELY PERFECT ANSWER TO ERASE THE LINE OF GENRE/RACE COMPLETELY. Tupac quoted as saying if I get killed, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S COMING TO REPLACE ME (He was prophetic)- In 1999, the final artistic King of ALL Music - Slim Shady, Eminem, Marshall Mathers- Dre brought to us grunge/rap/controversial/ANARCHY in ONE blond, blue eyed white boy

  • way to go, you did it wrong....

  • @AccountabilityBurns how do you mean? Freedom of speech here, how was it wrong?

  • it's okay... i respect Shupak, bit i dont like his music, i have nothing against him. i love kurt, so i cant hate this song :)) oh! at 1:23, it sounded like Smells Like Teen Spirit!!

  • nice video ,but both these ledgends dont belong together.

  • @simpsonNirvana94 Thank you for watching, may I please offer a reply back without offending you I hope, you probably weren't born or just a babe in 1990-1996 & did not quite know that Tupac Shakur was not a killer, & Kurt Cobain was for from an angel:) Did you see in the video that little blond Kurt could destroy a stage & dive out in to a pit of 1000's with no fear? Both Kurt & Tupac spoke of the same views just from different genre's. They sat a row apart on the 1993 MTV AWARDS-its music:)

  • nicely done

  • @xJohnny9 no opinion's on how to create a sound that is a cross breed of these to artists?

  • @nirvanafairie watch?v=Ca-9eBfoPAM

  • And on the production side....well done! I am now a subscriber to your channel....Much Respect to you!

  • @R6M1R0 I AM GETTING SOME SERIOUS LOVE TODAY- THANK YOU TO MY NEW SUBSCRIBER WHO'S BEAUTIFUL WORDS AND ARTISTIC VISIONARY RENEWED MY FAITH IN WHAT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED HERE IN THE WORLD OF MUSIC- WE SHOULD NOT JUST STAY IN ONE COMMUNITY BECAUSE OF GENRE PREFERENCE- PUNK ROCK IS ABOUT FREEDOM, FRUSTRATION, & ANARCHY- GANGSTER RAP IS ABOUT THE SAME-FREEDOM FROM OPPRESSION, FRUSTRATION OF LIFE IN THE HOOD - ANARCHY AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY- KURT & TUPAC A VERY POWERFUL ALLIANCE even in death-

  • I believe that Kurt and Tupac would have reached out to each other to collaborate when the landscape of pop music disintegrated into a directionless mess of corporate garbage (Like in the 1980's) around 2000 (after the rap-rock craze ended). Since they were both artists at heart, they would have gravitated toward each other since everything else was so worthless at the time to "teach the young'ns how it's done." What does everyone think about that theory?

  • @R6M1R0 CAN A NEW SOUND, A NEW STYLE OF MUSIC - FILLED WITH PASSIONATE CONTROVERSY BE BORN FROM THIS? WE NEED TO FIND DRE!!!!

  • @R6M1R0 That's my thought as well. Nicely said.

  • @FuckingStanz Hello! Thank you for taking the time to consider the video - I think that you are agreeing with "R6M1R0", if that's correct you are a true artist & innovative person...Please if you could - pass the video to your friends, I would be so grateful!! Peace.

  • The similarities between these two are striking and I have been saying that for years. Both tragic figures, VERY misunderstood, outcasts that were too far ahead of their time. Walking contradictions that confounded the world that just watched in awe. True rebels. Glad to see someone else sees what I see.

If they were both still with us, I believe they would have worked together on a project of some sort and it would have been epic.

  • i thought it was inspiring thanks for makeing it

  • I love any comments good or bad, I love a debate, but I DON'T DO RACISM...I AM A PUNK ROCKER ALL THE WAY BUT I AM NOT BLIND TO MASSIVE TALENT...KURT PREACHED "PEACE & ANTI-SEXISM" & TUPAC WAS ALL ABOUT "THUG LIFE" but if you open your mind to the video & the history you will see Kurt Cobain was a lot wilder than Tupac & if Kurt would have befriended Tupac at the 1993 MTV Awards: I CAN GUARANTEE TUPAC WOULD HAVE TOLD KURT HOW TO HANDLE HIS MURDERESS WIFE - think on that- PEACE:)
