Actually this type of unit isn't installed inline at all. The transducer is simply placed or mounted in the pond. A very simple and easy install.
And in terms of the bio activity, ultrasounds vibrations actually works to stimulate the bacteria which seems to increase their rate and absorption of nutrients in the pond which is a good thing too.
How does it effect the bio system in the pond can this be installed before the bio filter
