  • Teenagers aren't children. They are teenagers, a completely different phase of life. Lumping 17-year-olds into the same category as seven-year-olds is a huge mistake. A 17-year-old is far closer to being an adult than he is to being a child, yet he is given no more rights under law than a seven-year-old.

Did that prosecutor even realize how stupid what he was saying sounded? Sadly, I think not.

  • I'm sick of this "child pornography" crap. If a teen sends a pic of herself topless to some guy, what's wrong with that? It's immoral, but not worthy of prosecution. Instead of prosecuting teens, why don't they help them with their self-esteem issues?

  • if you watch this video, then you guessed right, you are breaking the law

  • omg. let kidz be kidz.

  • Disable the message function on their phone? Parents can certainly do something about it, but that is not the way to do it. They should have a talk with their kids about the consequences it could have.

  • America should get over it, get on with it and finally grow the hell up. Maybe then they wouldn't be so friggin' uptight and have a healthier attitude towards something as completely natural as the human body and sexuality.

  • American people are very catholic. "In God we trust" is written on the 1-Dollar note. God has created the human body. Isn't it a sin to hide that god-given body behind clothes? Clothes were not created by god. In the dark mid-age everything that was not created by god was satanic. I dont understand what's wrong with a naked body. As long as nobody harms anyone, everything is okay.

  • Amen.

  • That's not Catholic, that has nothing to do with being Catholic, or really even Christian in general. We're not living in the middle ages anymore. There is nothing wrong with a naked body, however, you never know what kids are going to do. If somehow these pictures ended up on the internet, the students might be in danger. That's the real concern.

  • Please! If someone takes thier own picture, sends it out, its a crime? LOL, Hello World! I think we really need to evaluate our laws and our obsessive "paranoid?" fixation with human bodies. Whats so scary about a gland or organ? I think these kids need some positive attention to curb the behavior, not public humility and ancient conservative views preached by insecure repressed wall flowers over "belted" by daddy or psychotic self proclaimed kings and prophets. Hello biology, its me, Mr.Penis.

  • Well if you look at it that way ShadowCPU................Its still child pornography!!

  • Then maybe the law is due for a rewrite.

  • Did you know that under all these clothes that people wear they are naked? Gasp! People need to seriously loosen up a little. There is nothing wrong with the naked body. Get over it!

  • The law is there to prevent sexual predators from lusting over vulnerable "children". Now if you like looking at naive, underage children, that make you a lover of "kiddie porn" or a "paedophile". You won't admit it 'cause you ain't a "man"!
