Also about those editors, the first rendition of d2Edit (I think 1.9?) It was entirely impossible to create an item that wouldn't drop legit, since it used the games mechanisms of essentially "rerolling" items. It would just save you a lot of time for finding that special rare honestly. Of course that's talking 1.03 days.

Fuck all these Hero Editor easy shits, lol. I remember my first editor for Diablo II back around 02 was D2Edit312 and also one of Jamella's first ones. Just to get a cruel executioner's blade meant you had to wait for the editor to keep rerolling the item. That was a good minutes worth of work. Then if you tried to select the 3 prefixes and 3 suffixes on a rare, and try to roll it, meant you could leave the PC going all night and you *Might* wake up with your item.
