@slugprincess10 One of her sisters (Alleria, i.e. Allerian Stronghold) was lost in an expedition to Outland as it was shattering. Literally lost. No one knows where she is or whether she's alive. Her other sister, Vereesa, live in Dalaran with her husband, Rhonin. They have children together. Vereesa has chosen to think of Sylvanas as dead and mourns her as such. To her, the Banshee Queen may as well be someone else entirely.

It doesnt matter what you get reward. On your Lvl of course it is waste of time. Thats a lvl 15-20 quest in ghostlands. I have done the quest with my high lvl chars on horde side because of the music and the book

quest starts from finding the locket on a random mob in ghostlands windrunner spire, once they drop it, you have to talk to someone in the main belf town in ghostlands, who will give you a quest to take it to sylvannas, then she starts singing and a belf gives you a translation book ^^

To (the sister), With love, Alleria :( also just before arthas killed her and she was about to prepare her last battle thing song came to her mind :(

Sylvanas was a High Elf Ranger before she was slain by Arthas. She was resurrected to serve him. As Ner'zhul's power began to fade, Sylvanas regained more and more power. It wasn't until later, when Arthas left for Northrend, that Sylvanas managed to be entirely free.

Sylvanas didn't decide to join the Horde as Queen of the Forsaken until much later, and even then, they didn't trust her, hence the reason Forsaken start (Or used to start?) with neutral reputation with the other factions
