Thanks Eric. I appreciate what you're saying but I find doing the YV videos a really useful way of enquiring more deeply into what is going on. I appreciate that many non-Hindus might be put off by the Hindu framework but the expression of the highest wisdom has been a thread in Indian culture for millenia and is too rich a treasure trove for me to ignore! In fact, I love it!
No I am fairly well versed (maybe not compared to yourself) as to "Eastern thought". I am glad you don't just accept everything in there at face value and I listen to every one that you upload.
When you leave a comment you should try to relate it to the video rather than just hijack the space for the promotion of your own beliefs and prejudices. Feel free to post another comment after you've properly listened to the video. Thanks.
good morning, it is 0537 in california, I broke a fast after one day, yesterday. I was looking for innerstrength, and entered the search terms "yoga kata" i immediatley was presented with a later video, I scrolled to the first video, and hear the echo of my own voice tinged witha friendly accent.
if I hear my sentiments in your voice, and know that we are inseperable... what of the mysogenist muslim and the hateful christian? aren't I them as well?
It depends whether awareness is identifying with the wave or with the ocean. These are the only two options really. For a wave to identify with another wave is to compound one erroneous notion of individuality with another.
I'll take your word for it! There's an interesting story by C. S. Lewis about a blind man who is then able to see. He can't handle it and then kills himself. Maybe this is why it takes so long for us to mature. It's too much to handle all at once and would fry most people's brains so we grow up slowly and break it up into bits. Something similar happened to Robert Pirsig in 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' when he stumbled upon the Tao.
hes so monotone, i cant understand what hes saying

Bill, I/we enjoy all your videos, but to me this is still my favorite... more of your own thoughts/feelings and less of someone else's book ;)

I'm thinking a good way of really finding out your first response to this world as witnessed for the first time, would be to take a good dose of DMT.
