  • Great Job! I do the IEA thing which is a middle school/high school version of IHSA. Are you part of the WVU team because I ride for the Valley Ridge Farm Ridge Riders and I noticed that your video was under the related videos column to some of the WVU girls' videos...

  • I hope to join the team when I get to college next year. It looks like so much fun!

  • It is a blast to compete in IHSA! You should defiantly join if the college you are going to has a team.

  • Izzy!! ♥ :) That is a really cool horse. Great ride, you look nice on him!

  • Thanks! Izzy is sooooo great.

  • i did IHSA last year and loved it... you look amazing and congrats on placing

  • Thank you!

  • beautiful pic at 1:24!! you look great all things considered.

  • amazing seeing as you've never ridden this horse before =]

  • awesome.........i wuld be so nervous getting on a horse i had never ridden be4 @ a show.....good thing i have never had 2 do that.!

  • It is actually a fun challenge! You should try it when you get to college. =o)

  • Great job! Especially for not riding that horse before, that means you must really connect w/ horse great!

  • great job! you looked like a pro! i hope to show someday and look like that!

  • Thanks! That means a lot since I have only been riding for 4 years.

  • it really looks like youve ridden the horse before! you look great

  • Thanks you and I really have never ridden this horse before! I wish I had pulled this horse again at GSU, since thats what team it belongs to.

  • your a very good rider thats easy to tell! but are you sure this is novice b/c this looks like the height of the beginner novice jumping i did at the last show...idk about the jumping you do but when i compete novice for eventing the jumps are around 2'9"

  • Thanks Clemsislove!

For IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) Novice is considered 2' - 2'3, depending on how high the horse can jump. To qualify for the Novice division you can not of jumped 2'9 (or higher) in an A rated show and won 1st place.

  • You ride really smoothly and gracefully :)

  • Thank you so much! I work really hard on my equitation!

  • RESULTS ARE UP!!!!

  • "In 7th Place (skipped 6th because of tie) with a score of 85/100" 7/15 videos is not bad! ~Twirl2378

  • yep not bad at all!! u look great! i jst wish ther wasnt so many other great riders so i could've placed u higher!!!!!! lol

  • i think ur equtation is great and ur trainer needs to tell u wut u need to work on not people on utube

  • my god come on u jst cant take critism freak

  • Thank you 00purplepony00 for comment about my video! I do take my trainers advice over anyone's advice on youtube (you can see my trainer in the video). I just like to hear from other riders their opinion on my equitation.

  • Thanks for entering my contest!!! *Good stuff* 1) correct upper body position 2)appropriate crest releases 3)nice turn out (clothes and cleanliness)--shows respect to a judge :D 4)good distances *Bad Stuff* 1) u need to look up between ur horses ears over the jumps 2)u need to lengthen ur leg a little and sink into ur calves 3)hold ur leg with ur thighs and calves instead of ur knee(ur not doing the gripping with ur knees too much but ya..) Ur score: 84/100
  • SCRATCH THAT!! 85/100!!! =D

  • Haha the joys of riding new horses at shows =]

  • i love this song! what is it?! you look really good! i can't believe you've never ridden him befoere then.

  • Thanks for the complement! Izzy (the horse) belongs to the Georgia Southern University Team.

The song is "Top of the World" by Boys Like Girls.

  • OMG u had never ridden this horse before! thats amazin! ur flyin lead changes were awesome i was really hard for me to see them and i think ur the first that i was hard for me to see! so take that as a complement!

  • I do take your complement as good thing! Equitation is all about trying to make it look like your doing nothing! It all depends on the type of horse if the flying change is going to go well. Izzy was a good boy who listened to me and knew his job.

  • yeah if they kno there job its alot easier, my horse doesnt quite get it yet but were workin on it...

  • cool, i mean considering you had never ridden on it before, you looked calm and confident and you are great at jumping
