Fucking Blizzard shiet going for same value P2P monthly cost + buying a new expansion of more *fun* endless grinding. Give me a break, so much problems and suffering one have been put up with, at least release it for free. Foolish shit.
I still love Aion, it needs some improvement, specially pve wise and more incentive to pvp, but game is quite fun still. I rerolled from scratch after 1.9 and quests/exp is in a good spot. Not so easy but also, in a decent pace.
Aion still lacks end game content, but hey, 2.0 is right around the corner.
Aion had so much potential.. although I canceled my account, I imagine that I would have restarted had my house not been robbed and computer taken. Looks like some pretty impressive stuff, lets just hope there are enough players to keep it going. The lack of players on asmo ariel was one of the top reasons I had to quit :(

Everyone who is commenting doesn't have a 50 and complains about the grind. Looks like you came from WoW where it takes 3 weeks to get to 80.
I started in january, had a 50 by late march, and now I have 3 pieces of elite archon 50 gear, which is better than fenris and not a grind because you are pvping. If you came from final fantasy and like pve grinds, then go ahead and get your subpar fenris gear. I'll stick to pvp. I also have 2 jobs, graduate school, and workout daily and cook daily.
I like the game, solo it can get boring but started over as a spirit master and I'm loving it ;D (easier when you're a casual player). I'm hoping that this update won't take to long. And I hope a lot of players that left will try again :D I mean the game was stamped during beta and release and I see that with 1.9 there is also more activity.
From 2:55-2:57 if you look closely at the 3 Elyos characters gliding the one closest to the bottom has blue dragon wings. Can't wait to get my hands on those ^o^.

@stefasWQ16 Is just that you are not able to counter other classes. Even a "stick" in Aion can help you in duels/pvp. So learn how to play and don't say such useless comments.

@Ned406 Also, I agree with you. Though it's not a horrible grindfest, the game itself is horribly constructed. Blatant repetitious quest..( tons of repeatable quest) or the horribly plotted repetitious story. The only good thing in this game was the graphics and end-game 'fighting'. Sieges and dungeons are all dumb because if you choose the wrong server you are toast.
So basically I quit WoW because it's just way too time consuming, takes so much time a week just to keep your gear level decent, + the fact that you're running the same instance over and over in 10m, 25m, 10m(HC), 25m(HC) etc. Anyways, I haven't been able to find out a whole lot about Aion, but it seems pretty cool. Would be awesome if one of you other dudes with first hand experience would hit me back with some answers :)
great graphics and spells, if they just put in more quests or more xp for already existing quests i think they'd get more people sticking with it, i ran out of quests lvl 21, grinded to 25 then got more quests up to 27 then looked on the forums bout the grind not even starting till the higher levels, and quit, as i could see i was gunna quit when i got to higher levels anyway, besides lots of new games comming out, APB in a month, then TERA and Blade and Soul in 2011. good time for mmo's atm.
this mmo's endgame is mass foretress sieges pvp battles, but the game engine can not handle this all, even with a high end PC, the game looks good and plays nice SOLO- party instance and that's it. you can not enjoy the endgame... and it is a dam mega grindfest.
Aion trailers are always awesome, but you can see how crappy the game runs in this video (probably recorded with state of the art hardware, a computer around 6k in price or something!)
Playing aion at 60fps smoothly = fun, playing aion with 60fps at times and 5-10 at others (yay mass pvp) is not.
I played aion, got annoyed, went back to WoW and am now awaiting guildwars 2

someon lvled a assmo and elyos char lvl 10, same class, same gear, sama manastones, same skills n all. the assmo damaged 50 more.
@H3llB0ii mate because you are 41 lv doenst mean you can kill lower lvs only because lv,maybe those lvs were wearing pvp items and you were wearing pve equip thats a big difference.
i will go and test with a friend in other server what you said about 10 lv chars but we will be 20 lv because there is no rift in game for 10 lv chars .
Great gameplay and great graphic, this game r0x!Really it makes fun and the PvP System is also really cool. PvE and PvP are cool with cool graphic. This is the Aion 2.0 Version with new ingame content and the current version1.5.1.15 has also alot content. The Aion version 3.0 comes also soon,maybe next year... Aion is now 7 month old and it will stay along time as a good mmorpg.

More stuff the NA Version won't see for 6 months. Canceled my account on the 20th and haven't logged in to play the rest of the time out. I played WoW for 5 years and I thought Blizzard was slow; these guys take the cake. Time to find another time sink to burn some cash on. I wanted to give these guys my money, but they couldn't give me new content on a reasonable schedule.

You can get from lvl 10 to 30 by crafting alone. Grinding is the slow way to lvl in AIon.
With 1.9 quests have been added everywhere. CUstomisable caracters.
Beautifull graphics and fun pvp. Classes are quite balanced too.

this mmo's endgame is mass foretress sieges pvp battles, but the game engine can not handle this all, even with a high end PC, the game looks good and plays nice SOLO- party instance and that's it. you can not enjoy the endgame... and it is a dam mega grindfest.

Aion trailers are always awesome, but you can see how crappy the game runs in this video (probably recorded with state of the art hardware, a computer around 6k in price or something!)
Playing aion at 60fps smoothly = fun, playing aion with 60fps at times and 5-10 at others (yay mass pvp) is not.
I played aion, got annoyed, went back to WoW and am now awaiting guildwars 2

@Martijnvanderklip no, actually i came lvl 41, and get killed by 2 lvl 35 assmos, and when i was lvl 35 lvl 41 did hit kills on me. ever heard of the race test?
someon lvled a assmo and elyos char lvl 10, same class, same gear, sama manastones, same skills n all. the assmo damaged 50 more.
when lvl 10 elyos damaged 100 he damage 150

@H3llB0ii mate because you are 41 lv doenst mean you can kill lower lvs only because lv,maybe those lvs were wearing pvp items and you were wearing pve equip thats a big difference.
i will go and test with a friend in other server what you said about 10 lv chars but we will be 20 lv because there is no rift in game for 10 lv chars .

Great gameplay and great graphic, this game r0x!Really it makes fun and the PvP System is also really cool. PvE and PvP are cool with cool graphic. This is the Aion 2.0 Version with new ingame content and the current version1.5.1.15 has also alot content. The Aion version 3.0 comes also soon,maybe next year... Aion is now 7 month old and it will stay along time as a good mmorpg.
Who wants a game that is too easy? Easy epic drops? Easy gaming? Aion don´t have it, than you better do not play it!

More stuff the NA Version won't see for 6 months. Canceled my account on the 20th and haven't logged in to play the rest of the time out. I played WoW for 5 years and I thought Blizzard was slow; these guys take the cake. Time to find another time sink to burn some cash on.
