idk if i did it wrong or....?

    ahhh idk D;

i really want to make a fake wound just for the fuck of it :D

  • @YourFaceIsALlama It didn't dry?? Hmm, most people are telling me its drying too fast! What did you use, and what amounts?

  • @BeautyByBrig well i used like the ghetto mexican vanilla flavored gelatin that you make with milk usually, and some glycerin but one that i got at a mexican store cuz at other stores it was out of stock ._. yeah i think that the problem is the brand of the stuff i bought? idk ._. oh and i used like 2 tablespoons of gelatin, glycerin, and water....

  • @YourFaceIsALlama i think it may be just that you used flavored gelatin. If you buy unflavored (shouldnt matter what brand) it should work better!!

  • @BeautyByBrig oh okie thank you ^-^ :D!

  • after watching this vid i made my own and made it look like i a huge hole in my face thanks alot

  • One big lump of stuff LOL

    thnks very much.

  • I have to say that i love this. YOU ROCK!!!!!!

  • last night your tutorial really helped me, I was Freddy Krueger .. the only bad thing was that I was a little more water, and after a while I stopped one part of the scar. but thank you!!!

  • @WithoutYouBabe you can get glycerine at like first aid areas. Like at walmart in a first aid section. Hope this helped. Or instead of glycerine you can to latex or molding wax

  • I dont have glycerine and I dont know where to buy it, doesnt anything else that people ussually have at home, works ?

  • Thanks a bajillion, it works great!!!

  • Can i use flavoured geletain? (LIke jjell-o Powder?)

  • wow gelitine is cheep where you live :/

  • Does it matter what kind of gelatin you use and the size of the bowl?? cause mine, i used all the same amount of the things and it comes out sticky and gross.....

  • Hey just a question, I've used gelatin before but i haven't but glycerine in it, why do you add glycerine?

  • u are beautiful :P

  • Hey do you think I can make a small cut on my cheek and it last for at least 6 hours without it falling off?

  • actually, u dont need the glycerin, just make a would with some glue or paint and it will stick right on for a gorry wound.

thank yu tho i managed to make enough for my zombie costume tomm

  • do u have to have the gliserin?

  • auwsomm i think ima us this for hallooweennnnnn

  • no entiendo el ingles

  • heyy thanks this worked soooo well..

  • How long does it stay on? Will it fall off during the day?

  • Urgh, I'm trying this right now, lol, and it won't dry!! Also it is starting to up the inside of my lip and it tastes sooo bad :( What did I do wrong?!

  • 8 people go as flowers for halloween.

  • @HeArTzAsTeReO Plus the 8 guys who dress up in their sisters dance skins and tutus, with their grandmas 1960s cheap-ass brunet wig and bright red lipstick. That makes 16.

  • jesus christ thank u for this video.. now females can make their own fake breasts!

  • Haha! I just learned this trick. But you explained it better than anyone else could. Thank you! I'm subscribing!!!

  • it doesnt work.. i put it on my hand and let it 10 minutes on there and when i want to form it its just sliding away..sorry for my bad englisch but please help me i really need to know what i made wrong thanks (:

  • @PizzaEcke Hmm, I never had that problem before?? how did you make it?

  • @BeautyByBrig i mixed two spoons full with glycerine, gelatine and water. put it in the microwave for 20 sec. set it down for 5 minutes then i tried it on my hand and let it dry for about 10 minutes. then i wanted to form it and it doesnt work.

  • man i couldnt find the Glycerin anywhere in walmart.. =( im screwed for halloween.

  • @xStarKandiex

i got it from a pharmacy, try it there (:

  • @xStarKandiex you can replace the glycerin for lotion and you still get a really good effect :D

  • Would this work with someone with dark skin? I'm 11 I want a zombie costume. I've got dark skin but not really really dark. Please respond b4 Halloween!!! :)

  • @waddles877 all you have to do is cover over the prostetic with paint, makeup, ect.

  • @waddles877 yes! its pretty clear, but you can always add some foundation that is closer to your skin tone if you want tit to match more.

  • so do you just use it exactly like liquid latex???

  • @CheekzBizzable kinda, it dries a bit differently but I like to use this instead of latex.

  • Is liquid latex some what the same as this? And does latex work the same as this?

  • @jadegorgeous Kinda. It dries a but differently but in general it has a similar effect.

  • @BeautyByBrig Thank you..

  • My microwave broke down, I think I'm outta luck

  • @AhhSeanTea you can use a stove and pan just keep stiring it and don't set it to high. Medium at most. You just need to melt the geletine

  • cool

  • How exactly do you reuse it? Just stick it in the microwave?

  • @BlueDandiCandiPieJam yup for like 10 seconds

  • @BeautyByBrig thanks

  • Comment removed

  • Do you absolutely need to microwave it? mine is broken :\

  • @deehmon : i have used an old pan on my stove, works too. just stir the whole time to keep it from burning.

  • @krisssaable OMG i was so scared i wouldnt get anb answer before tomorrow night!! THANK YOU ILL TRY THAT :D

  • just found the perfect smell-fix: just use a few drops of any baking aroma (those little liiiitle glass thingys - i used lemon) and tadaaaa. they're perfect because they're colorless and so highly concentrated, that it won't mess up the liquid proportions.

also wondering, if you can make colored gel by adding food coloring... has anyone tried that?

  • @krisssaable Awesome! And yes you can add food dye. I have also just added eyeshadow pigments and colored it too.

  • @krisssaable yeah it totally works and don't worry about how much you put in, i put a teaspoon but i added it after i heated it half way.

  • Great video, thumb up~ P:

Normally I just use gelatin and milk and heat it up as you do. It sticks to your skin and don't peel off or anything :3

Just thought I would let you know~ x3

  • @DevSoruSeriin thanks! i will try that!

  • @BeautyByBrig No problem :3

I don't know if it's better or worse than the prosthetic gel you make(never tried). I don't know where to buy the glycerin gel-thing so I can't try this out :I

  • if you add zinc oxide to it it makes it stronger and more durable

  • @TheXdeadXwalk awesome!! where do you buy that at?

  • oh and what section of the Walmart did you guys find the Gylcerin? because i'm having trouble finding it : (

  • @shaylajacopetti It is in the pharmacy area. I found mine over by the home remedy types stuff (witch hazel, etc).

  • @shaylajacopetti yup by the bandaids and first aide stuff

  • I'm surprised no one had asked this... i don't own a microwave can i heat it on the stove some how??

  • @shaylajacopetti hmm, you would have to use a double boiler

  • @BeautyByBrig Thanks it totally worked :) just had to heat it for a little longer. This stuff is awesome, it turned out just like yours!! For any one having trouble finding glycerin I found it for cheap at my local health food store.

  • yes, nextly is a word. I just added it to the dictionary. *right-click*...*Add to Dictionary*.

I also added it to the book... *sharpens pencil*...*Add to dictionary*

  • @zeusrealm lmao xD

  • I think Brig is hot personally

  • @BeautyByBrig I meant that can you also use rubbing alcohol rather than glycerin

  • it is awesome if u add like two drops of flesh colored makeup it is even more realistic

  • Can i keep it in the frig for 2 days with out molding?

  • @HaleyScreammmm yeah it lasts like 2 weeks (well thats the longest i have had it)

  • @HaleyScreammmm I have kept it up to a week so 2 days should not be a problem

  • @PortalPocky welcome lmao

  • wouldnt it be cheaper to get liquid latex..

  • @GemsyBumsYT my latex cost me $20, you can get 4 packs of gelatin for like 2 bucks and a bottle of glycerin for $4. I bought that pack of 32 packets a while ago and I still haven't used them all lol.

  • Is there anything you can replace glycerin with? I just saw that you said it is needed, but can I use something else??

  • Your videos have been super helpful. Thank you!

  • I'm heading to the store in a few! Thanks for the great video!

  • do i need glycerine or does it work only with the water and the gelatine as well?

  • @tepoackose Yes glycerin is needed so that you can easily take it off.

  • Thank you

  • This is amazing stuff! I just bought my stuff to make it this morning and just tried some out and voila! amazing!!! i can't wait to use it for my zombie costume tomorrow night.

  • Hi, great tutorial! I would love to do halloween but I live in Australia and its not such a big thing here. :(

  • @howva oh no!! really!!!??? why not?

  • @BeautyByBrig I don't know why we don't but its so upsetting I really wish more people would though.

  • I tried it! Works GREAT, same as the Kryolan-stuff AND much cheaper! Did a great 'mutated zombie' look based on your tutorial, thanx!!!

  • @FairyLightz Yay!!! :D

  • Does it stick well to your skin? 8)

  • @Niznozify yup

  • Does it come off clothes?

  • @BeautyByBrig yup

  • What did you use as an adhesive? Since this is homemade, is there any home made non toxic adhesive that I can prepare? ProsAide is quite expensive and hard to find. Can a Non-Toxic Elmers glue work?

  • @pspaddict80 It adheres itself. But you can use lash adhesive (or even elmers glue) to seal the edges if they start to lift.

  • Does this aso work on rubbing alcohol?

  • @charlizeparas123 what do you mean "on" rubbing alcohol?

  • Can you actually put a tint of color to it to look like real flesh? If yes, what's the best to use? Food color? Jobus?

  • @pspaddict80 I don't know what Jobus is, but yes you can use food dye, foundation, creme face paints that come in tubes, liquid fake blood...

  • how can you adere that on your face, so it can´t fall ?¿

  • @cevichevere it adheres itself pretty good, but you can always use either latex, spirit gum or lash adhesive on the edges if they start to lift.

  • Great stuff, thanks for the ideas. Halloween will be extra phantasmagoria this year! Gonna scare the candy right out of them kiddies. :)

  • This is great. One question: Do you have to keep it refrigerated when keeping it? Will it go mouldy otherwise?

  • @kwturner Yes I highly suggest refrigerating it.

  • It worked great! i made a ripped open hand an will use it to make a sliced open face! Thanks so much! It also smells horrible.

  • Is that hard or easy to get off your skin when your done with it?

  • @DJEJ141 easy
