  • If you got such a horse, you'll need no jockey :D great

  • Does that still count? Lol

  • @LifeLovinCowgirl nope! ahaha if the jockey's feet touch the ground, it's an instant DQ - the horse would therefore NOT be carrying his assigned weight, as the jockey is depending even the slightest on the ground.

  • Bet the horse was like "YEAH! I'm free and I can RUN!"

  • the Jockey's probably like "WTF??" hahaha XD

  • Wow! The comments to his video are even more amusing than the video itself!!! bahaha

  • Wait so did the horse win the money for winning...

  • @1233Maya dude you've been fighting with that same guy for six days.

  • The spirited horse, which will try to win the race of its own accord, will run even faster if encouraged

  • what a good horse! wins even no his/her jockey fell off!

  • Sorry, the horse may have crossed the finish line first without a jockey, but he didnt win. The horse is automatically disqualified from winning once he/she dropped his/her rider.

  • Seen riderless horses win a ton of times. The horse is racing naturally in a pack with about 115-120 less pounds than all the rest. He should win LOL.

  • There are many races like this one. The last race I saw was incredible : a long distance steeplechase/hurdles, more difficult because of the track layout. But no, that one horse just kept going and well ahead of the others. Great! For many years, in the UK, the first one to pass the line was the winner (with jockey or not), but I think the rules changed. Horses run, and if it's a "fighter" it will certainly run faster than others. Good trainers use this point to improve the potential.

  • It's not often you see a horse lose the jockey and continue perfectly in line with the race. That was pretty funny how none of the horses could get by him. On a side note I had that exacta haha

  • wow! look at that horses go XD

  • pure proof that SOME (not all of course) thoroughbreds love racing!

  • The riderless horse is all, "I so got this!"

And yep, of course Teton Pass' jockey is not urging TP on. Why the hell would he.

    Makes perfect sense.

  • the horse should still get credit about winning

  • they should've given the horse the win = )

  • @cowgirlcrush Thats what I thought too!

He was all, "I got this fools!" LOL!!!

And he did! Teton Pass was game, but that little riderless horse stuck it out :)

  • i can only imagine what the jock on teton pass was thinking as the loose horse forced him way off the rail!!

  • Fantastic, a big fuck you to anyone who says horse racing is cruel and horses hate it!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx hes scared and knows he is supposto run. This does not prove that 2 and 3 year old horses like to run until their legs are barely able to hold them up

  • @1233Maya a scared horse will stay within the herd for protection, I have an ex steeplechaser who had been in racing for 9 years, he still wants to race now and will take every oppurtunity to try.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx yeah i knew a 13 year old ex race horse and he got lose one day and 4 other horses were galloping around a pond and he was raceing them (and winning by alot) but that was because he thought he was sappoto do that. When we cought him he was freaking out. He ended up haveing a stroke in the middle of the night :( **RIP Slint**

  • @1233Maya **RIP Splint**

  • @1233Maya i am friends with a good many racehorse trainers and some jockeys at the british racing school. My best friend works at a racing yard and has her own OTTB, the horses love their job they'd do it if you took them out of the stable and let them go together on the all weather track, it is not good training they could easily stop once they were out of sight, horses love to run and love to win, my french trotter loves to beat horses in races and he isn't a race horse!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx horses dont know if they win or not unless you act all happy giving them the idea theyve done good. If the horses love it so much then why dont all horses run like race horses? and why do the jockeys hit the horses? and it is cruel no matter how happy the horse is.

  • @1233Maya I've given my horse a smack with the whip in a jumping class to make sure he picks his legs up. All the horses I know will happily gallop for miles and race each other, and they know if they win without me praising

Have you ever been hit with a racing whip, when I was at college I questioned that very same remark to a friend with a racehorse, she had her racing whip on her and she took it to my backside as hard as she could and she will say the same. It didn't hurt a bit

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx yeah... thats why the 13 year old i knew had scars from being whiped. He was also an amazing barrel horse but the lady didnt hit him (she almost never needed to push him) but the marks were to far up to be made in a westrn saddle. They were exatly were jockeys hit. PS whiping and taping with a crop is different, but i dont use eather and my horse over jumps if i sweaze him and with some clucking he runs home on barrels.

  • @1233Maya one horse does not define thousands of horses. get a grip

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx and he was only a race horse, barrel horse, then a 12 year olds trail horse. The kid never even hit him with her hand, i saw him being trained by the barrel racer and she was really nice to him so that only leave his raceing carrer. He ended up hurting his leg a lil and being put out early so he was pretty much ok and he tore something barrel racing so he was lucky that he could run by 13. (The girl loved racing her sis but she said he was hard to handle.)

  • @1233Maya thats great, pin the WHOLE racing world on one horse, nice one, our steeplechaser who has been racing since he was just turned two and won many races has NO scars on him whatso ever.

I give my horse a bit of a smack with a whip because he is a french trotter, his front legs are longer than his back legs so he has troubel lifting them up over a jump without a reminder thankyou very much, he can jump 5ft2 with ease so it isn't a problem he just needs reminding ~

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx no the whiping isnt the cruel part. If she loved her horses she wouldnt start them before they were physicaly mature. shoting horses? ohh thats soo humane. Killing 3 and 4 year olds just because they broke or hurt their leg and will never be able to win races again. If my horse fell today and broke his legs, if anyone wanted to put him down they'd be putting me down first. Plus his vet loves him and would probly make up new ways to help.

  • @1233Maya (well whiping can be cruel but i took jumping lessons for 3 years on a mare that would perfer to walk and buck... im not saying crops are bad. well not when they are used right. I cant use them or anything else because my horse was abused and if you tap his but over and over with your hand or the lead line he freaks out and if you keep doing it he pulls back hard and takes off. and if i walk up to him with a crop he starts shakeing)

  • @1233Maya most horses get broken at 2, all my horses have been! They are all fine.

So you'd ratherthe horse spend the rest of it's life in hospital? Not all breaks can be healed funnily enough and some will heal but hinder the horse terrible for the rest of it's life, satty broke his pelvis, had to be in a sling and have plates and pins in it, now he is fine!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx so a horse is terrible if it cant be riden? Hummmm i wounder what you horses backs will look like at 30? I know a horse like that... if you sit on her bareback there is such a big dip that you feellie your siting in a chiar. I dont mean riding eather i ment running that hard for that long. You dont see 2 year olds running hard every day in the wild. Really riding a horse in genaral is cruel in some way. Bit, no bit. saddle, no saddle all of it.

  • @1233Maya Read what I said, 'hinder' not unrideable, as in become disabled, not able to walk, having to stay on box rest for the rest of it's life, that is no life for an animal, it would be the same as a tiny cage in a zoo. Most of the horses I know at 30 are still being ridden funnily enough. HAH! Brush up on your knowledge, WILD HORSES ROAM FOR 26 MILES EVERY DAY, inc foals, weanlings, yearlings and youngsters, much worse than racing. Riding is cruel, you'd better stop then!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx i didnt say I think riding cruel, well not all the time but ofcorse there are the people that sore the horse and whip alot and all that, but if people think something unatural is cruel than even owning a horse is cruel. Yes they may go that far but they arent galloping as hard as they can the whole time. Plus horses are grazing animals meant to eat all day long. They cant graze and run at the same time.

  • @1233Maya Thorougghbreds have been specifically designed for the job, it's like saying heavy horses pulling carts are wrong. TB's do not generally enjoy being out in the field and it can be cruel to put them out if they don't like it, all the ex racehorses i know hate being out in the field for more than an hour or 2, horses are meant to eat 15hrs out of every 24hr day, the rest of the day is spent running playing and sleeping

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx yes... the gambalers and other race people have desined a breed ment to do 1 thing. If they dont like being out then these people have altered the natural ways of the horse. If they perfer to run hard and long all day then these people have again altered the natural ways of the animal. You almost never see a race horse buck, so they are dead broke to run. This man made animal sounds more like a toy than a horse to me. Those things dont sound horse like to me.

  • Funnily enough our racehorse bucks and rears, the other day my friend got thrown off a racehorse in training.

My horses don't buck, does that mean I am a bad person? It's called a well mannered horse they aren't wild anymore acting like wild animals normaly end up getting them in trouble or sent off/shot. They do not run hard and long all day, they get a gallop in the morning and sometimes one in the evening, at least we aren't schooling the shit out of them like non racehorses

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx a horse that never acts up has no spirt left and should be let out to pastrue for the rest of its life so it can have a chance of regaining some will to fight. And if a horse is broke to the point where is does not spook ever, then what does that say? the horse is well trained? nooo it means when the horse fears for its life it will stand there witch could rsult in death (in the horses mind) so sounds like they stand there and let death get them.---

  • @1233Maya What the hell kind of a comment is that??.. Police horses are trained not to spook at anything or misbehave by the likes of bucking.. I'm pretty glad they're trained like that to be honest.. just putting it out there..

  • @chratchan yes, they r dead broke. they have pretty much no spirit. Your point is??

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Plus if you want a dead broke horse then your eather a beginger or old and "just dont bounce like you use to". Dead broke horses are boring. One day i'll get on my horse and he'll be the perfect trail horse. The next he's the perfect barrel horse, makein sharp turns, taking short fast strides begging me to let him go. But then next day he might just throw me in the dirt cuz there was a scary cat or butterfly (yes he has spooked at both -_- ) or maybe----

  • @1233Maya You know nothing about horses I swear to god, my horses are not dead broke, they are COMPETITION HORSES, we compete all over England and Wales, showjumping, showing, hunting and western, they are just well mannered, none of them fear me, I do natural horsemanship with them, they don't act like dicks because they are my friends.

So a horse that neveracts up should be dumped to become a field ornament, ever think about what the horse wants whilst you are off being a knowitall?

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx dumped? you think a horse that stays in a feald 24/7 ,other than some stall time when they chose to walk in, wants to be riden? HA ok i know 2 mares and a gelding that just chill on 14 or 15 green acrers all day every day. One mare warns you if u even put ur arms over her. The other gets scared and bolts and the gelding would sling u in the dirt then dare u to get up, and he's a mini! If you rase a whip quickly or act like ur gonna hit them do they move?

  • @1233Maya do they run to u in the pasture or bite anyother horse takeing up your time? would they trot up to you and rub all over you like "sorry sorry sorry" after bucking and u falling off. Do the nicker at you when you walk around a corner with out them or push someone out of the way when they block the view of you? My horse does all that but i wouldnt consider him my friend, I consider him my life and ik im extemily lucky to have a beautiful animal like him in my life.

  • @1233Maya PS there is no such thing as "natural" horsemanship. Theres nothing natural about riding or even being around a horse. Natural happens in the wild. There are no people in the wild. Horsemanship theres the nice people, the not nice people and the horriable people that would be better off burning in hell (such as my horses previous ass hole of an owner that staved and hit him.)

  • @1233Maya Dear god get off you fucking pedastal, better sell your horses then, piss off you are so thick.

I pity any horse that enjoys being ridden that just becomes a field ornament, it's not fair, my horses love to be ridden and get moody if I don't get to ride them for a day or 2.

Did I ask for your life story? No I don't give a shit, release your poor horse into the wild.

  • @1233Maya You don't seem to realise that I own 5 horses, I can get on my horses with NO tack no even a halter and take them out and gallop them on a trail, or take them round a course of jumps, that is because I do natural horsemanship.

If we stopped racing more or less every single raecehorse would be shot as not many people want them and we can't afford to reschool them all, shut up and get some horse knowledge.

In the wild there were indians who tamed horses, funny that.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx when people came into the horses lives and they became our tame not wild animals.

You can call a mule a prized Arabian stallion but thats not what it is. You can call good horsemanship natural but thats not what it is. Yes if u train your horse nicly or mean and harsh you can still ride with nothing, that doesnt prove your nice or that ur horses love you. Ik a lady that beats the shit outa her horses but she can w/t/c/g anywhere at any time with nothing on them.

  • @1233Maya she doesnt jump or any of that but she could go on a trail ride anywhere or run barrels or any of that. I mean i guess she could jump if she wanted to but she doesnt like english at all so her horses dont know anything about it.

  • @1233Maya All i hear coming out of your mouth is crap, I could not get on a horse without tack and jump it over 4ft jumps if it didn't love me or want to do it for me, that is FACT, Natural horsemanship is about asking to horse to be your friend, not being it's master, that is FACT. Natural horsemanship is what I do and I don't give a fuck what you think, you seem to be hating all these things probably because you can't do it, you need to shut your mouth and leave horses alone

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx if it feared you it would jump with out hesitation because it would not want to make u mad. "Natural" horsemanship is the nice way and i dont dout that ur horses are happy with you. But no matter how or what u r doing if u are on top of or have anything around there face or neck it is not natural. They were put on this earth to eat the grasses down and feed other animals. Not to be riden or captured by people. Some horses would wither away to nothing just---

  • @1233Maya standing in a pasture all day but that is because they have been used all their life so they dont like just being bord, but some horses love doing nothing. Ik plenty of lazy horses that would much rather chill with their buds and eat then work. but i also know a few horses that would die if they had to stay in a pasture for more than 2 or 3 weeks. My horse wants to be out more than riden unless i start jumping him then he wants to be out every day but i usally dont jump.

  • My horses are ridden every day, sometimes twice a day, and only one of them is not a native type.

Please shut up, you sound like a child thats watched to many animal cruelty videos and thinks they know it all. WAKE UP CALL, you don't, I have qualifications on animal welfare and behaviour, work as a professional horse trainer, I know racehorses, work with them, ride them and have friends who are jockeys, the horses LOVE IT, sure some don't some people like vegetables, some don't

  • @1233Maya I KNEW IT, you are a child, just looked at your channel as i didn't believe you were over 16, of course not, yet you think you KNOW EVERYTHING, news flash kiddo, you are talking to someone who knows a hell of alot more than you, has been to equine college, studied horses and trains horses for a profession, do not argue against someone who actually knows what they are talking about you are a child. Leave the professionals to it please.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Age doesnt define anythig but time. My freinds horse is 30ish but he'd out run most other barrel horses. Im 13 but im smarterthan my dad by alot. Raceing is cruel same as rodeo u dont think so im sorry but i cant force u to not abuse your horses. And when im older, after i'm a pro level barrel racer and equine massuse, if i remimber i'll try to confince u again... but u'd still be older so that would mean u'd still know more. Cuz thats how age works.

  • @1233Maya Oh and when u seemy Lil Red arab on tv u can say u've talked to his owner. Or if you read his book ("The Lil Red Hornet") (well its not done yet but still)

  • @1233Maya Funnily enough I will be on TV in 2013 ish, doing expositions of natural horsemanship on a gypsy vanner stallion, so yeah you can't think you are amazing but from your poor grammar and idiotic statements I can tell you you are not.

Can't force me to not abuse my horses? I swear to god say that to my face you little brat. My horses are worth 10x what yours are and are professional horses.

My qualifications prove I know what I'm talking about, I'm not a stupid child like you.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx ohhhhh fuck no bitch ur horse may be faster and stronger and all that other crap but no horse in this world is better than my horse. he's honest, loving, usally willing and he can make the sun shine on the worst of days. My horse will be famous not because im a good rider, im not, i have confidence problems and im easaly scared, and my ballance isnt that great, But he will be famous because he deserves it. He was abused and when i got him there was no---

  • @1233Maya hope left in him. He looked like if the wind blew he'd just vanish into it. I felt like that 2 and now i couldnt live without him and jugeing by how he acts when i fall or come up to him mad/sad im pretty important to him 2. I paid $450 total for him of my own money. You probly pay more than that to feed ur horses but here the thing, all those "pro" horses, yeah they may worth hunderds of thousands of dollars but if someone came up to me offering 99.9 mill for---

  • @1233Maya Lil Red id laugh in there face and tell them that he is priceless cuz no matter how hard or how far u look theres not a single horse in this world thats like him. I dont care if they've won the world level in every sengle profesion, he's still worth more. the world doesnt see it cuz they ant seem to get over the past and they dont see him like i do. When he was gross and boney i told him he was beauftiful every time i saw him and he will always be the best to me.

  • @1233Maya U can call me stupid and childish all day, i dont care but dont u dare diss my best friend cuz i'll fight to the death for him.

  • I didn't read your comments because you are an idiot, no where did I mention that your horse was crap or not up to speed, I said you were an idiot.

Obviously you are attention seeking, my horses are rescue horses/abuse cases, one was destined for slaughter, one had her skull cracked, one nearly died of ragwort poisoning and one was beaten and had his back legs damaged

I pay $10 for my feed, I paid $80 for my little rescue pony.

Just because I like racing doesn't mean I'm some snob.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Just because someone has bad gramer does not mean they are not a champion,In my opinion she is a perfect rider. Its not about who has the most expensive trailer or best horse fanciest tack. Its about your relationship with your horse and by what i see in your words you look like you have a poor one you greedy motherfucker Grow up and get a life lil red has a big heart.i know that and im not even his owner theres nothing natural about you

  • @quarterhorselover100 No it does not, but a stuck up child with nasty opinions does not get far in life.

Because I like racing I am a cruel rider? Say that to someones face and you will get punched in the face, she doesn't need her friends to back her up she is making a fool of herself brilliantly on her own.

My saddle cost £15 and my horses are rescue ponies so I am not being a snob, grow up yourself

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Im not "Backing her up" I don't know how this convesation got started,I dont care how much your saddle costed thats why i said it durr durr. And i didnt say racing was cruel.I could go on and on pitch a fight with us Rodgers family and you won't get out.Im simply standing up for a friend.I dont know much about her because ive never seen her in real life before. But I do know that she loves her horse. And I could care less how much a horse costs.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx You have some serious problems

  • @quarterhorselover100 No, a 12yr old telling a racehorse rider she is a cruel and nasty person just because she likes racing is a problem.

An idiot then coming in and joining to convo to back her friend up, that is a problem, then attention seeking and using a whole comment to tell someone about their horse when the person clearly doesn't give a flying fuck, thats a problem. I think you and your little friend should crawl back to your hole, no one agrees with you guys.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx The only point im trying to prove is that no one gives a flying fuck how much your horse is worth really get a life.I don't need agreements when i am stating a fact.A fact is a fact my fact is im not backing up my friend and the way you go on and on about something is unrealistic.my age has nothing to do with this either...I really like the way you keep bringing up excuses.Go ahead try me cause gues what im a racehorse rider too

  • @quarterhorselover100 Wow, an american racehorse rider, love, come to the UK and see REAL racehorses! It's like me going to you, yeah well, I'm english and I'm A QUARTER HORSE RIDER etc etc, english quarterhorses are a pile of shit compared to AQHA's, american race horses are a pile of shit compared to english and irish TBs, not being nasty to the horses themselves, I love all horses, more the concept and that the english created racing, not americans

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Yep if you mean western racehorse rider. You really do have some serious problems I don't recall saying anything about Breeds of horses. And if you think Quarter Horses are a pile of shit good for you I don't really care I like thoroughbreds too so your point is????

  • @quarterhorselover100 Never said QH's were a pile of shit, I said our version of them and the discipline is shit compared to the originals, the americans, same as your version of TB's, english breeds, the discipline, is shite compared to ours, read the comment idiot.

No serious problems, I just won't stand around and watch my heritage be slandered by a bunch of idiot children

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx All you have to do is take some kid stirrups and tie reins around them to make a girth.works perfect you should see it..Its on my vid at the last part now could you go on about your merry way and leave this girl alone or be mister cocky?

  • @quarterhorselover100 More attention seeking, trying to get me to watch your videos.

Sweetpea, your retarded little 12 yr old friend started this conversation and started the insults, so kindly crawl back to your hole where you came from.

How about you tell your friend to leave me alone? Insulting me for no good reason, I wonder why she got such nasty replies, GURRRRN!

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Oh no, DONT talk to me like that.I didn't come from underground i came off a whole gang of horses today and im tired this is my down time dont make it stressful for me instead do me a favor and go crawl into your little whole.

  • @quarterhorselover100 I'd like my 'comeback' back please, learn to spell and get some imagination, go you, I run my own horse business, ain't I a fancy schmuck.

    Idiot

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx I knew this one was coming!I have a 90 average in English.I am an Honor Roll with distinction student and I have an A in every subject. Now that doesn't mean I have to have correct grammar on a you tube video. And I have someone calling me an Idiot?Oh wow really,Thats awesome for you Im glad you own you own business. So does my dad.Again your point is?

  • @quarterhorselover100 HERREE COMMESS THE LIFEESTORYYY AGAAAIN

God your such an attention seeker, are you than insecure you have to bluff your way through comments on a youtube video? Pathetic child.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Hmm well I hope you realize one of these days the way youve been seeking attention as well. You don't recall saying I own my business,I thinkQHs are a pile of shit,Or at least"your version of them"I am not an idiot and i don't appreciate you calling me one.I am not downing your heritage.I don't know where that one came from either.Maybe you should make your comment more clear before you call someone else an Idiot.

  • @quarterhorselover100 Or you could learn to read, would be easier on my part.

None of that is attention seeking or my life story.

'It's in my new video' 'I'm an honor roll' 'I came off a whole gang of horses today' 'my mare loves me to death blah blah blah blah'

I have mentioned that i have horses and they are rescues in reply to a foolish point, that i ride racehorses in reply to a foolish point.

Attention seeking child, thats all you are, thats why you came on here.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Oh wow Your comments are laughable you told me a life story just then. You know what?I can sit here all night and laugh at your comments.Like I said, bless your heart

  • @quarterhorselover100 Goodness me, you really are stupid, I would pity you, but.

    No, can't, tried, can't.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx You don't realize each time you comment you dig yourself in a deeper whole. You are making up things now,ive seen a few recently that have no part of this.Know what we Americans call that?Changing THE SUBJECT.Haha its like you deciding to become a writer, because you can't focus on your topic.Bless your heart.

  • @quarterhorselover100 Not really, still calling you an idiot, telling you i don't want to hear you life story, been doing that from the beginning, cuz your too stooopid to compeyhend dat aint cha.

Byedee bye us English folk have to sleep now it's rather late, tata snookums

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Oh I comprehend it...I told you from the beginning that if your going to start something with me ill be stubborn about it.You don't understand. That doesn't mean i am stupid though

  • @quarterhorselover100 Oh it does, sweet dreams x

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Oh no it doesn't good night though:/

  • @quarterhorselover100 It does, and it's not just me who agrees, many people have seen yours and your little friends comments and told me what a freaking idiot you lot are and how I'm a legend.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Look obviously you said something insulting a girls horse and she got offended by it.All I have to say it get a life and stop ruining others.kk no hard feelings just get over it

  • @quarterhorselover100 NO.

I did NOT, hence why I told her she was a retard for going on about it, I called 'her' and 'idiot' never said anything bad about her horse, I never talk trash about horses, horses don't deserve it I love every horse.

Not once did I say anything about her horse to her, ever, go and read through them and see! Ruining others, a shitty little brat came on here and told me I abused horses because I like racing, so fuck off

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx OK well thank you for finally telling me!I thought she got mad because you were talking shit about her horse(I'm not saying you did)I can't really go back and look at the comments cause my computer won't load.It was all a big misunderstanding so I'm sorry

  • @quarterhorselover100 Well next time think before you open your gob, bye.

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx And if you want to know why.Ill tell you.My mare was abused then ruined by an idiot girl. Then she gave her to me.She was crazy.Head shy and spooky. My sister trained her on the basics of barrel racing. When she moved off to alaska i took to training her.She loves me to death and Today something unbelivable happend.i went around the first barel she started to pick up her speed alot i havent ever went that fast before. But it doesnt matter how much hes worth to me

  • @quarterhorselover100 her boobs are real i swear!!!

  • @fiddlesticksfly WHAT????

  • @fiddlesticksfly WHAT????

  • @xXeMokiDXxMCRXx Oh and I dobt many people would want to see a brat like you on tv, id be the first one to turn he damn thing off, theres no need to look for an excuse like that just to hide a fact.it might be a LONG while before you reach real horsemanship skills.i wish you luck, but just so you know if you treat people like this,no one is going to like you or want to watch you but im sure if you would appreciate other riders then they would appreciate you

  • @quarterhorselover100 Horsemanship skills? Well done you, I'm a professional horse trainer and riding instructor who runs my own training business.

A 12 yr old kid tells me racing is a cruel sport and starts on my comments, I will certainly respond and it won't be pleasant, go away this person can fight their own battles, stupid children

  • @1233Maya no. if it feared you. it would dump you. end of. a horse's natural reaction is to run. and if that has to include getting you off its back, then it will happen.

  • @1233Maya theres a difference between fear and love. but its alright, you're only 12, i dont expect you to understand this yet. however, to judge someone purely because they enjoy racing, and then to turn around and say there horse is broken is fucked up. you need to stop spreading your foul opinions on youtube, and actually go and spend time with horses.

  • @fiddlesticksfly I think shes 13

  • @1233Maya have you ever actually been to a raceground? seen how excited the horses get, cause they know whats happening? no broken animal can exert that much emotion.

  • @1233Maya they dont eat all day long. theyre trickle feeders. eating little bits at a time.

  • @1233Maya if they didnt like it, they wouldnt allow it.

  • @1233Maya racehorses arent shot because they'll never win again, theyre shot because theres little to no chance of them recovering. my friends racehorse was destined to be shot, but because she fought against the vets wishs. now that horse is in work again, but to do that for every injured horse? miracles dont happen everyday.

  • @1233Maya He loved his job, he was treated like a king and so are all the other racehorses i know.

Your basically accusing my best friend who trains racehorses of cruelty, she'd knock you out if she heard that she loves her horses so much even though she doesn't own them.

Satty is 14 and still jumping 5ft2 and going for 4 mile gallops on the beach and he did non stop flat, steeple, point to point and hunting for 9 years straight and broke his plevis in an accident.

  • @1233Maya i hope one day they'll stop discriminating against bigger/smaller horses, and the shires and shetlands will be able to race alongside the thoroughbreds one day. until then, maybe its because they dont have the build/speed/stamina levels to professionally compete in a race that's designed for thoroughbreds. as for running like a racehorse? al horses walk/trot/canter/gallop, there's no speciality that steeplechasers have that show ponies do not. it's not cruel.

  • @1233Maya actually, most horses will slow down and then stop. and then someone will come out and get it. most horses wont continue

  • team player

  • theyre most likely to win without the rider becuase theyre taking out like 120 pounds in weight when there is no rider

  • Oh fuck me where did they get this gomy cunt of a commentator from

thank god for uk horse racing

  • gee man , he beated the others and they were whipping there horses :') i want him !:L

  • This horse loves to run, really cool video!

  • I don't like jockeys, I think they feel no love to the horses. Nobody of the world is able to hit ANY horse. -.-

Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Germany. lol

  • @suunshine123 then why do jockeys CRY when their horses break down? Oh yeah, they have at least some sense of love for them.

  • @suunshine123 dude, if there were to be any people on this earth that loved horses, it would be jockeys. Why the hell do you think they risk their LIVES for a sport?? If they didn't care for the horses they are riding, wouldn't they just pick a different career? If you've ever been around a jockey you would know how much they love them. Think about that first before you judge on something you have no idea about!

  • @onasnowynight08 agreed from an aspiring jockey. If I hated horses why in hell's name whould I want to ride them for a living? I'd just stick to animation if that were the case. @suunshine123 learn the truth before speaking since the whip is just some leather on a plastic pole to trigger the flight response. a horse's hide is much stronger then you think.

  • @suunshine123 You've never given a horse a crack with the crop when they're being unresponsive and/or naughty?

  • Also shows how embedded their professions is in their mind x_x

  • well he doesn't have as much weight as the other horses either

  • still going and wins lol that's a good one

  • wait, so the horse with no jock won.. literally? or the horse that came 2nd?

  • @Whippet088 The horse that finished second would be the official winner. Frequently when a horse dumps the jockey they wind up going wide in the turn and finish near the outside rail, but in this case he had another horse outside of him that kept him from going to the outside rail, although he still took the turn too wide, and that is probably why he crossed the line first.

  • This is nothing,I was at the track years ago and watched a riderless horse actually rate the field while in last to circle 10 horses. This horse knew exactly the finish line was and to win without a jockey. It was a come from behind trained horse and boy this horse was trained to win.Amazing site!

  • @bermyguy213 PLEASE read my previous comment... seriously, how dumb to you have to be?? Look at where the riders have to sit, how the hell do you think they are going to kick them? They cant, hence the whip. Personally I'd rather cue speed by tapping my horses butt which is covered in essentially, fat and muscle, with a whip, then kick its rib cage.

  • @myhorsesandponies101 I would like to point out something. For the sake of cutting wind resistance, these jockeys essentially stand on the horse's back. Which means they have NO leg cues, at all. Have you ever tried making a horse STAY at top speed for a decent length of time with NO leg cues to encourage them? The whip is simply a replacement to those leg aids. Sometimes the use is excessive, sure, but watch barrel racing, those horses get kicked the whole time. Nobody cries about that.

  • clearly this horse loves his job :)

  • Brian Regan :)

  • see? horses just do better without their riders.

  • Jockeys are cheaters. Get rid of them.

  • This video shows that it is NOT needed to hit your horse to make them go faster!!!!!!! NOT at all needed. All you need to do is kick!

  • This just shows that the horses are NOT forced to race!

  • i don't know which end's up ,,it was a good ride that horse ran . but does it count ?

  • @14physician no. if one or both of the jockey's feet touch the ground, the horse is disqualified.

  • @futurejockey8 answer's a lot appreciated.

  • Amazing XD

I would have bet on that horse. Three is my lucky number.

  • @HeartFullOfBuckshot .......and you would have lost

  • @Beachrunner333 No shit. xD All in good sport. Not like I'd bet a million dollars. XD

  • the horse wins, he should get the money, fair is fair! =)

  • hahahhahaha, its because theres not as much weight :P

  • wow! that horse pwns!

  • I think #3 was encouraging #5 xD come on lil buddy! U can do it!

    He made me proud!

  • was the horse an outsider for this race or the favorite? :D

  • i bet the horse is thinking: "See? I work better on my own! I dont need a stupid jockey!"

  • @ChampionHorseLover The horse probably thought this feels so good.

  • most racehorses like racing..............

  • HHaahaha he won!

  • american race callers are so boring. no emotion what so ever...

  • Fairplaaaaaaaaaaaay!

  • This proves so much that they dont have to whip the horses.

  • @susan77789 it is also carrying about 120 lb less AT LEAST.. hahaah

  • Not only did the thing win, it set good fractions and swapped leads coming out of the turn. Way cool.

  • I'm starting to think jockeys won't be needed in horse racing anymore xD

  • this just goes to show that u dont need to whip a horse heck they dont even need the rider lol this is just showing some or most racehorses like to race

  • @nacomagenic This shows that if jockeys weigh only 1 lb or less (or are made of air) then the horse can win..

  • @naridon in what way

  • @naridon search for robot camel jockey in google :)

  • There's another vid of a horse called Illegal Intruder who unseats his jockey at the start, and actually strategizes to win the race! First he tries to go between horses in the stretch, then on the rail, and then surges on the outside when another horse gains on him. Cool stuff!
