And on another note, I dont think that he played a Nazi in the movie. His character even ratted out Hitler at the end, which a Nazi would not do. He played an asshole that is obsessed with hunting people, and the Nazis let him do that with Jews. I guess he would hunt everybody for everyone, it is not personal for him.

That may be so but back in the thirties in Germany and Austria this was used against jews in filmbusiness ...In our country it is considered bad taste to joke about it.
