  • My problem actually lies in the fact that my dog actually does slide all over the place when she is walking on the vinyl flooring. We just rescued her yesterday, a retired racing greyhound, who is only 2 and pretty lanky and thin, I am afraid myself that she is going to fall and hurt herself. Do you think that the sliding comes from the way she is walking because she is afraid? Or do you have any other ideas as to how to help her get past this?

  • @ricslick - put her on leash all the time in the house for now. You have to teach her that the surface requires her to walk slowly. Once she is walking slower over the flooring you can let her drag the leash, then later take the leash off.

  • Very curious, we´re pet lovers and hardwood professionals and never heard of such a thing. I think they´re mostly scared of their lack of traction, and some humans, elderly, injuried and children have that problem as well.

For kindergardens we´ve work Bona Traffic Anti-Slip, it had a some slighly rough surface, and works like a charm with our dog.

    Greetings.
