beautiful but the original version is the best , Janis Ian's version you can fell her pain it's that that makes it the best because of the agony, the heart break , the pure unadulterated pain of youth the longing for love at an age were you still don't understand love plus i think the fact the Janis Ian is a lesbian makes her version better , i mean young people have a hard time with their feelings imagine a young girl who's gay thats some fucked up shit to go though but i could be wrong

I think it's a very brave thing for a man to try to cover this song, and I liked the interpretation. The words work fine when you transcribe them into third person. What they say is absolutely timeless, genderless and universal. I wasn't so keen on the video though, it was a bit fussy and distracting and at times over-literal. It works best if you just listen and don't look at the screen. Thanks for singing one of my all-time favourite songs.

Why would you pick a absolute classic that is literally full of emotions and be unable convey it in song? I found your version extremely boring,
