@NemeanLion The cabinet is probably the last part of any restoration. There is no point of restoring a cabinet if the electronics are shot. Some of the main problems for games this old are the CRT monitor, game PCB board, power supply, wiring, etc. They can all be rebuilt if you have the patience and the know how.
The 80's and 90's were the gold years of arcades IMO. I have seen sum weird looking cabs of Donkey Kong,Joust,Centepede,Frogger and a few others in this fake wood cabinet at Game Works. There is a Ms. Pac Man at a movie theater I go to. It is set on fast mode. I prefer that over the slow mode.Where do you get ur arcade cabs? Online or from auctions. Just wondering. Amazing how good shape these are in.
@PearlJammer07 You just have to know the right people, oh and by the way, about 90% of the games you see in this video were not working when I bought them. Many soldering iron burns later, about 90% worked.

I love these 80s arcade cabs. They used to put awesome art around the screens. Especially the Data East and Capcom cabs. The Nintendo ones are awesome too. Nice collection dude :)
@ArcadeGames aren't the buttons and the stick uncomfortable and unprecise? I play ikari warriors on emulator here on the computer, couldn't imagine the horror of playing it with a stick.
I wish YT didn't limit videos to 10 minutes, I would have loved to see an overview of your Tron cab. I always make a habit to play it when I go to FunSpot. Great to see your collection, you've got a lot of great games. Can't wait to see more!
Well, sometimes you have to search high and low, and as far as affording them, having a job helps, so does saving your money or the combination of both. Thanks for the comment.
So whats the secret to resoring these old games? It sounds like the bulk of problems is the condition of the cabinet.

@ArcadeGames Ok, thanks. So I guess you either have to have a knowledge of electronics or be wealthy enough to pay someone to repair them.

@NemeanLion I learned by osmosis, but it helped me save money in the long run.
