Well, I like the overall stance of the car from the side view. But I think they messed up royally on the rear of the car. Look at it compared to the '63 split window. The original was subtle and mimicked nature.

The designers of this car were too harsh with the lines, trying to make it look aggressive with those ridiculously large fins. And It lacks the 'flow' of the original. They should've done what Ford did with the GT and just create a replica of the original '63.

Looks interesting. Looks a little like the Batmobile but I bet it has great aerodynamics. Seems like they are going for a futuristic look. Put a powerful V-8 in this thing and you've got yourself a nice race course car. Very low center of gravity, fiberglass body, high performance engine and parts that every Corvette gets, and this sleek design is everything an owner of this car will have to get heads turnin' and rubber burnin'.

I agree that the rear needs more tweaking i cant even see the rear tail light, i cant even picture in my mind some one backing that thing up into a side garage door and from the front, i don't know at an angle it looks nice, but straight forward the grill and the narrow lights just don't look right to me, but if there were LED lights at the bottom o the headlights going to the right would make it better.

Seems embarrassing for a full-grown man to go on at such length about a an over-styled car's appearance and how much it is like the great Stingrays of the past. Why not look forward? And a waste to bring those things to full size models. We all know that there's not enough wheel clearance or ease-of-access for that thing to ever make it to the road. Sports cars should be fun and relaxing to own. That thing is huge and expensive, it would be nothing but stress and effort to park it in town.

Thing is, they re-do Stang and Camaro suspensions to full rear independence. They don't need to do that with Vettes. And you're right; American race cars do just fine compared to their European counterparts, aside from those wicked fast, ultra-dependable AUDI LMP racers, and maybe those Peugots that race in Le Mans, too. Those 2 Eurocars > any race car Americans make.

You don't watch the Lemans or Rolex races much do you? The Corvette hangs in there with the Porsches, Ferraris, you name it, not just in a straight line. Many of the current crop, Mustang, Camaro just to name a couple, race against those same brands every weekend on road courses and come up winners all the time.
