  • i wish i can move faster like him for only more than 7 minutes!!

  • Waiting for bulldozer core.

  • AM3 DESTROYS LGA 775.

  • why is he all dressed up? does he work somewhere.

  • You build it by yourself! Wow! You're good!!!

  • I'm thinking I'll download this video and then slow it right down, just so I can hear what music this dude is listening to...

  • wow, you are playing it so slow that i only se what are you doing. R.

  • are yo doing sli /this board dont surrport i.

  • is he like this in person ?

  • he mustve taken drugs to be this fast lol

  • wat power supply you use

  • no offence~

why would u put in the mother board first ...u had to take it out to put in the heatsink again

    learn the steps please

  • lol only a few $'s under 1000$ lol

  • definetly better than mine i cant ven play halo 1 demo on mx settings wothout loads of lagg and i dont no how to build and put new stuff in lol

  • lol you probaly didnt put a Video card in and the motherboard didnt have intergrated graphics

  • 4 Quad core processors, damn man. You must need like a 2 KW (Kilo-Watt) PSU or some shit. Two Nvidia 9800's is overkill. Why the hell do you need both 32 bit and 64 bit ultimate? You fucking retard, if you have a 64 bit system then go with the 64 bit OS. 12 GBs of ram, LOL. Not even the big movie producers with loads of CGI effects use that much yet.

  • you need to slow down man

  • why does price matter its all about performence

  • anoying

  • u need to read a manual to build a computer??? U NUB

  • this video is annoying at the best of times.

  • Thats the way Vista the best

  • it is quad core.I got quad core and all 4 cores are working

  • interesting price comparison:

I got my quad for 220$ its now 180... Moores law at work!

  • Comment removed

  • ok wats wtong with it lol

  • actually if you dont have an intigrated graphics adapter on your mobo you need a video card to get a picture on your monitor

  • Would this be a perfect PC for Gaming? PLease reply.

  • This computer would be able to play games...if it had a graphics card. Which is the most essential asset of a computer on which you plan to game.

  • It does had one, at the beginning he shows a Asus EAH2400 Pro

  • yes

  • lol instead of $1000 $950

  • he bought the q6600 for 368?!?!

  • look at the date when this video was posted,i bought mine for 300 at the beginning of this year

  • its now about 260 now here.

  • on newegg (USA)its $190

  • hmm price is dropping by the minute.

its still 260 here though. in most the places.

may be cuz we import. but we import form singapore or taiwan, if it was from usa price will be more high. i mean ive seen a 750$ laptop here is like 137000 almost like 1400$

im telling the prices in the market no in a specific place.

  • video card

  • you dont need a video card to run a computer, however if you plan on gaming, then youll need a good graphics card :D

  • so maybe i am love with graphic cards so what

  • im in luv with em too (buying a 8800 GT soon :D)!

  • cool i just got an ATI 4870 its fast and cheap

  • wheres the card for the workstation, that brings the price way up

  • intel isnt quad core...its 2 dual cores in one.

  • ...which is "quad" cores though isn't it? 2 cores plus 2 cores equals 4 cores doesnt it? 4 means "quad." lol.

  • 1 question plz when he is building the intel core he is using something like glue? reply plz

  • thermal paste its like grease that you put on the top of the cpu that fills these microsocpic scratchs in it to help it cool

  • don't be an idot

  • thermal paste for heatsink

  • uhmmm..

is the cpu just a pentuim 4?or dual core?

and just make it core 2 quad?

    didn't think dat was possible..

    great video..

  • he means Core 2 Quad.

  • This guy is fast OMG

  • If you build your own computer how do you make/install a BIOS?

  • It's already installed, BIOS is just a ROM xip

  • it's on your mother board

  • uhmmm..

is the cpu just a pentuim 4?or dual core?

and just make it core 2 quad?

    didn't think dat was possible..

    great video..

  • uhhmmm...

is the cpu only a pentuim 4 or dual core?

then he made it a Core 2 quad?

  • you're forgetting the MOST important thing which is a VIDEO CARD , without a great video card , that core 2 quad is powerless. so add in 200 bucks , and i gurantee i could build a system with close to as much ammount of potential for , WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY less than 1000 , try 500.

  • umm idiot.. its just a basic quad system...not a gaming system

  • maybe you should move out of your mom's basement and use your computer for other things than wanking over porn and playing games 24/7 ... gg moron

  • stfu moron. look at your stupid fucking username , dont make me choke-a-bitch.

  • ooh tough intarnet warrior...im scared please dont choke me

  • a lot of major companies use quad cores for managing text documents that could be up to hundreds of mega bytes. also not many games support quad core processors right now.

  • Tons of people use Quad Core for busines. A Quad Core processer is ment for multitasking. Right now they're better for video editing than games.

  • yes and no. i do a lot of video editing on my comp, but also a lot of gaming as well. it blows a standard processor out of the water on all fronts. especially in high end games. and you are right, multi tasking is a cinch.

  • A quad core offers great speed improvements over a dual core processor in not only games, but programs like Photoshop, AutoCAD, etc.

  • Instructions??? Why read them? Just do it LOL.... But hey got to hand it to him Vids cool.... But please next time lose vista LOL

  • Hahahahahahahhahahahahhah

He builds a super fast computer, then at the end shows that he's installing Vista!!!!! Hahahahahahah

Vistas gonna suck all of his precious power and downright crap up his comp lol.

  • Hey dude, I've got XP and Vista on the same PC and I can bet you I've got the same FPS on Vista than XP

  • probably better...

  • Jeez, i wish i could build my own computer.

  • It's really not hard

  • It's very easy, it's like a LEGO, and is very entretaining to do it

  • If you were to buy that setup today, it would be much cheaper. Last week I just bought 4GB of Corsair XMS2 RAM for $58 (sale) from CompUSA, which has amazing prices now that tigerdirect bought them. Will also buy the Q9300 or the 9450 in a little bit.

  • damn fast.

  • i can get a q6600 much cheaper

  • it sounds like a jackin a box going backwards for the whole movie lol

  • damn! u too fast ..i envy u..lol

  • nice background music!:D

  • Im glad hes not building my computer.

  • hello mate, how much did this cost?

  • info

  • uhm, can you please post a slow vesion of this video?

  • Now your only missing the graphics cards

  • whats the budget???

  • I might be an ass by saying this but this still feels way too slow.

  • what have u been taking to make u so damn fast?

  • holy sh.. ehh.. cow ! a pc builder guy on red bull ! (:

  • DAMN FAST LOLZ

  • lol @ he has the manual out

  • lol @ you.

He is probably finding where the pins are for the power switch, HDD activity light, power light, reset switch.

Also probably finding out what the pin configuration is for the sound, fire wire and usb.

As all of that differs from Motherboard to Motherboard it is wise to read it, because if you screw it, you are not covered by any warranty.

  • most good cases have all the front panel wires in 1 plug rather than seperate leads , then again this is " building on a budget" so the case is bound to have shitty wires everywhere i suppose

  • ive got a 3r systems R700 case , thats not a cheap case and it still has wire individually separated wires, yet they still win all the awards lol

  • they still sucks , my fingers arent chopsticks , having to use tweezers to get the pins in sucks

  • girlsdrinkfeck, lol @ idiots like you. Do us and yourself a favor and stick your tongue in a wall socket.

  • oh im sorry , and your fingers have the accuracy of a CAD robot ? :| i dont care what anyone says , front panel wires piss me off

  • And well they should piss you off girlsdrinkfeck, now go put on your protective helmet before you hurt yourself.

  • guys, it's no use fighting over trivial things like front panel connectors. stop acting like babies. anyway, it's up to the builder if he/she wants to use the front panel connectors.

although in my opinion, front panel connectors make computing a little easier, no reaching in the back of the pc to connect somthing. although most of the computer's connection ports are always in the back.

hmn, wouldn't it be nice if motherboard manufacturers actually shipped a 5.25" front panel? hmmn

  • he's fast :P

  • I like this video because of the speed lol!

  • i was going to use the arctic freezer cooler on my quad core system, will that be ok, or do i need a anything better

  • is it the freezer 7 pro? cause i just got that for my q6600, if so that should be fine

  • i got that , fcuking noisy tho , bios settings is reccomended

  • how much thermal paste do you use one a quad core cpu,i want to build my own and don't want to fry mine, looked like you put some on the cooler as well

  • u only need a drop and if u dont know already intel always run cooler than amd but as long and u put a good amount like a drop in the middle then just put the heatsink on top and let it spread by the heatsink and when the paste is heated it will spread more 2 or u can take a liitle more that a drop and spread it. it should be good 2 but thats not that important as the heatsink u use u should get the zalman heatsink or the coolermaster gemini.

  • It looks like he has an ASUS video card further down the table.

  • what is he doing in bios towards the end of the movie?

  • It looks like he was setting the boot priority so when he put in a live disk the machine will read it rather than just booting like normal.

  • lol vista

  • no graphicscard? XD

  • its a workstation, he will be blazing thru windows office *.*

  • lmao!@..i was wondering...i was going through the cost list thinking, "now, with no graphics card..why in the fuck would he need a quad core to begin with?"

  • keep on lauging. your ignorance is really accented with remarks like that. why dont you make your age any more obvious? off the top of my head, quad cores are excellent for their pure raw processing power, which make them excellent in environments where all you want is processing power of CPUS, ie, who cares about your videocards. think of cluster computers, virtualization & multitasking. that should be a start for you. while you can overclock your older processors, they cant grow new ones

  • my ignorance? im not the one arguing on the internet like a fucking twit. and newsflash computer dork: A FUCKING COMPUTER WITHOUT A VIDEO CARD FOR HOME APPLICATIONS IS POINTLESS. so how about you just ya know..take a look around..read some of the other comments, and dont call people ignorant when you dont know your own ass from a hole in the ground, fuckstain.

  • you are immature , therefore you cannot win this argument , even if your right! :) have a good day little boy

  • you guys are so hilarious

  • LMAO. Yeah, I do not understand why this guy has a Q6600 on a 'workstation'. If he was building a 'budget' case he could have done much better on the 'budget' part.

  • on what did u assemble your desktop?(What Material ? )

  • sounds like a jack in a box on crack

  • The wierd noise, i don't know, music on fast forward + background noise, really annoying. However this is an alright tutorial on how to put together a Desktop :)

  • this hurts all my brains

  • Hmm.. The air isn't going to change there very well...

  • you start your comment with omg and HE'S the fag?

  • p.s. it's actually not such a bad practice to install things like the processor and ram onto the mobo before installing into the case. makes things easier. granted a table isn't the best place to do that. learn your shit before you go around making statements like that. also MOTHERBOARD is only one word.

  • i was just telling that it wasn't a good idea to install things like ram (especially) on the motherboard before installing the motherboard in the case. since the pins behind the motherboard are very fragile and there is a risk of breaking them, and if you would break them, your motherboard may not work properly. i experienced it myself and the warranty wont work cuz of that... no insults ^^' just comment. btw, merry christmas :D

  • well, you see, if you do it in the case, the mobo can crack.

  • yeah i might've come off a little too harsh so my apologies. but it really isn't so bad to install the ram onto it that way. i will say that it should probably be done on say the anti-static bag it comes in and if it didn't come in an anti-static bag then it should be done on some foam or something.

  • I love your videos man. The one with the free games was useful. But the computer I built about one or two years ago is already outdated! It doesn't run Vista well at all! This was very useful sir. I want to build this once I have the money saved up.

    Thanks!

  • lol he seems kinda slow @ puttin it 2gethr even with th timelapse

  • You can get all this for under 7000 bucks today - especially when cut back on the quantity of budget-ram and get 2GB of well-timed RAM instead as nothing really utilize 4GB.

  • its still gonna be 1000 after u add vista

  • no its not, you basicly dont :)

  • ha how true

  • and a monitor and a video card and a mouse and a keybaord and headset/speakers, and so many other things u need/want

  • The vga is intergrated.

  • lmao

  • Dear god, what were you listening to?!

  • this would have costed a whole lot less if you bought everything from newegg

  • u forgot to add the price of vista... thats like 300 bucks lmao

  • plus a video card

  • it might have onboard

  • Just bootleg the vista cost = $0

  • so under $1000 is a budget wow

  • No Video Card?

  • obviously you didnt read my comment correctly. i ended my first sentence with a question mark, not a full stop. and yeah, quit swearin. chill, life goes on.

  • ok but no need for sarcasm is there

  • is the q6600 4x 2.4ghz or is it just 4 chips making 2.4ghz

  • 4 chips making 2.4ghz? where have you been lately? some cave?

  • every chip is 2.4 not 4 that equal 2.4

  • ok thanks so that stupid "rayzor85" is wrong

  • the proper term is "core"... every core is 2.4Ghz bt very little applications and games use more than 2 cores perfectly..

  • wat about gfx card?

  • lol, clever video, shame you didn't slow down when opening the components would av liked to see the first boot up tbh.

  • should have bought a actic cooling freezer 7 for this build mate, much better than that thermaltake one you have!

  • a quad has no huge advantage gameing wise yet.core 2 overclocked is the way to go budget wise..even cheapest core 2 overclocked to Q6600speed will perform as fast playing that one game you play..

  • I know your post was about a month ago, but it has been confirmed that the folks from Crytek stated that Crysis has been optimized to run on a quad core/64 bit system.

  • so that was you!!!!!

  • Next time try to put the camera facing you. Your back is not really interesting.

  • your supposed to watch the computer not him

  • That's what I wanted but he is standing between the pc and the camera. Really nice video but if the camera would have been on the opposite side I would have seen much more.

  • wouldn't be dat fun 2 build ur own pc dat time? i think dat was fun!:) but 2 expensive:(

  • Nice build, couldn't have splurged for an 8600GTS?

  • sorry I'm not a gamer so just wanted a stable card.

  • Sooooo, No Graphics Card In Your Computer?

  • hey im having trouble getting my videos in on here in better quilty anyone feel like helping? check my channel see what i mean? im on vista 64Bos so im limited to working programs at moment

  • quad core is the reason your on a budget

  • wow that must be the coffe side effects

  • Somehow the terms "budget" and "Quad-core" seem mutually-exclusive. :-) Nice build video. How long did it take in realtime? I built a quad core PC for my wife in about 2h15m (she timed me) from opening the cartons to plugging in the power.

  • I'd say that was about the time it took for me too.

  • yes it is

  • Umm, can you give me the exact specifications? And B.T.W. did you refer to a guide while making the computer?

  • What do you mean by "exact"? Simply went by the poster with the motherboard. (I've built PC's before)
