I’m no movie buff and choose carefully the films I watch, largely because most now peddle skew-whiff morality, whilst peddling sex and violence. But this movie is as rare as it is brilliant. Fast-moving with great acting. No sex scenes but littered with sound moral messages, of which my favourite is a supposedly-weak man’s (Samuel Jackson’s) determination to be around for his two sons. It gives hope and celebrates good, for a change. My only complaint is that it wasn’t 2.5 hours...8.5/10
