I don't usually ask for a thumbs up with my comments but I've seen a lot of comments asking about the song that starts at 3:17 and I just wanted to give the name and orchestra - so here it is, copy and paste into the bar above, then you'll have the wonderful song:
The Benny Goodman Orchestra - Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)
Thumbs up please so we can share it and it's easier for us all to access it, thank you very much, have a wonderful day listening to the lovely sounds of jazz!
"Moonlight Serenade" by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Geez Loueez, guys, I'm only 46 years old and these songs date me by at least another 40. Am I the only one to know this stuff?
Count Basie and Glenn Miller were wore typical of the 1940s, as some of the tracks on this You-tube were also, especially the second tune, and the very last one, which is a typically war-time record from the early 40s. (Moonlight Serenade) A more typical 30s record is "Happy Days Are Here Again", which is the tune before the last one...
Actually, Glenn Miller's 'Moonlight Serenade' was released in 1939....and Benny Goodman's (second song on this) was written in 1936, and made popular in 1938.... So in conclusion, I know my stuff, and it is ALL 1930's music. Enjoy!
CAn u plz tell me the name of the first song? I'm making a 3d scene of a shady mafia room and i'd like to put that song in the project. Or maybe someone else can tell me a song wich would fit a small smokey mafia room. Thnx
The 30s, unemployment, where am I going to get money for my family, apple salesman on street corners, bread and soup lines, flappers, bathtub gin, work hard for 10,15, 20 cents an hour, radio and movies were popular, the B-Westerns were money makers, and, Yes, the music, big bands, were great.
what's the name of the music at 03:18 please

This is BING CROSBY signing, on the first tune. The song is "Buddy can you spare a dime?" A Brunswick record I think.
