  • what's the name of the music at 03:18 please

  • I don't usually ask for a thumbs up with my comments but I've seen a lot of comments asking about the song that starts at 3:17 and I just wanted to give the name and orchestra - so here it is, copy and paste into the bar above, then you'll have the wonderful song:

The Benny Goodman Orchestra - Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)

Thumbs up please so we can share it and it's easier for us all to access it, thank you very much, have a wonderful day listening to the lovely sounds of jazz!

  • I hope a lot of HUGE hairy balls will start to grow out of your ears WMG!!!

  • Well you can't very well watch a video without sound now can you. Backspace

  • OMG WMG

  • omfg wmg can suck my dick

  • lol yea

  • FUCK YOU WMG!!!!!!

god damnit I love the 30's but with all this copyright shit how am i supposed to listen to it?

  • Fuck WMG!

I am just glad they didn't replace it with that hip hop shit they do to other videos.

    Youtube is run by teenies.

  • fucking WMG go to hell

  • Stupid copyright stuff! some cool pics anyway :)

  • I'm the director of a group in a video production class and need some old msic. This helps a lot, but what is the second song called?

  • The second song was Sing Sing Sing by Benny Goodman. Written by Louis Prima.

  • Hi, can I have the name of the last music?

  • "Moonlight Serenade" by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Geez Loueez, guys, I'm only 46 years old and these songs date me by at least another 40. Am I the only one to know this stuff?

  • alguienme puede decir como se llama la cancion del minuto 3:20 ??

somebody can tell me the song name in the 3:20 minute?

  • hey brother can ya spare a dime?

  • By the way...this is a fantastic video. Greatjob!!

  • Hi, can anyone tell me who is singing the first song on this video (Brother Can You Spare a Dime) I love this man's voice. Thanks much!

  • I believe it was Al Jolson.

  • This is BING CROSBY signing, on the first tune. The song is "Buddy can you spare a dime?" A Brunswick record I think.

  • If so,my bad.

  • Can u give me a couple of famous artists names from the 1930's too? besides Count Basie, and glenn miller?

  • Al Jolson, Al Bowlly, Billie Holiday, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong, Bing Crosby, and I think Frank Sinatra.

  • Count Basie and Glenn Miller were wore typical of the 1940s, as some of the tracks on this You-tube were also, especially the second tune, and the very last one, which is a typically war-time record from the early 40s. (Moonlight Serenade) A more typical 30s record is "Happy Days Are Here Again", which is the tune before the last one...

  • Actually, Glenn Miller's 'Moonlight Serenade' was released in 1939....and Benny Goodman's (second song on this) was written in 1936, and made popular in 1938.... So in conclusion, I know my stuff, and it is ALL 1930's music. Enjoy!

  • can u put other 1930's music online????

I'm Doing a Social Studies project on the 1930's
