Of course DNA proved her parents did not do it ONLY because the evidence was so BADLY DAMAGED they COULD NOT TEST IT! There were also no other evidence that someone else was in the house. They paid the police off to get away with murder. Mama DID NOT give a shit about her and dressed her like a WHORE!! The interviews they did was so very FAKE!! Her mama Pasty is now burning in hell and some day Papa Jon will join her in hell!
@NAVMAR16 They didn't pay the police off to get away with murder! - the police were out to get the Ramseys - the cops had tunnel vision and did not do their job from day one - a total miscarriage of justice. Patsy was a beauty queen once and Jonbenet wanted to get into pageants too - she enjoyed it and was something she shared with her mother. If you watch all their interviews, you will see thru to their pain. Do your research then comment.
Of course there was no ransom phone call because the ransom plan and everything associated with it was abandoned in the house: the ransom note, the pad of paper, the pen, the duct tape, the rope, the broken paintbrush, & Jonbenet. If you watch the program on A&E with Bill Curtis he says: it's like to crimes collided inside the house - this makes sense that it started out foolishly as a kidnapping then turned into a homicide instead. I hope they solve this case for the sake of the Ramsey family.
@goldengirl67 They already have, the PARENTS!! John refused to take polygraphs. Neither of them cooperated with investigators. When they agreed to let investigators come out to ATL to question them, the investigators would get there and the Ramsey's would be in-flight to who knows where.
I also find it interesting that the parents were pushing to find a killer. If they had done it I don't believe they would be that enthusiastic to find a killer. One could say they're being very clever but I really don't think so.
@peteyguitarguy Pushing to find the killer? What case are you talking about? Definitely not the Ramsey's. This family, worth millions, have done next to nothing in terms of finding the killer or contributions to any related causes.
In my opinion the Ramsey's did it and they knew just what they were doing...purposely invited friends over nearly right after they discovered the kidnapping in order to destroy any strange footprints/fingerprints and purposely making sure it was John who found JonBenet and brought her upstairs for Patsy to see so that any fingerprints could be justified. It doesn't take a genius to know the best thing to do would be to preserve any and all evidence, not invite all your friends over to soil it.
Reading the replys and messages left here that deny the parents guilt in this, just makes me think one main thing, i am soooo very very glad that i am one of the intelligent, well reasoned, logical, broad minded individual thinkers, and not one of the flock like some of the rediculous people who make rediculous claims on here. Thank you God for that, i would rather be dead than as narrow minded and dumb
lol, the tape is public and you can hear something in the background tbh. Also, make it public? Too bad you didnt take that approach in 96 ramseys, you wanted to refuse interviews and run off to atlanta!
@felixrivers1 Yes.. Patsy failed many polygraphs. Then they got a new polygrapher who didn't give up on her- after a few days, she finally passed. Note: A complicated lie detector test should only take a few hours, at most.
@priestessrain this is a while after the murder. People react in different ways when put under high stress situations like this, in combinations with recalling such a traumatic event. Their minds may be trying to block the emotions.
I am so sure that PATSY RAMSEY killed her. Maybe on purpose maybe an accident but SHE DID IT. Her husband also played a part. He covered her up and maybe even molested her. Either way u can so tell Patsy is guilty and John is trying to stall and cover it. Therefore god gave her cancer and she died and left John with 2 dead children and now a lonely man.
You watch when she turns to speak to Jonh at 4min 33 sec, the truth of her guilt is in her eyes, it is easy to lie to Larry King but when she turns to face her husband, and is looking at someone who knows the truth of her guilt, you can see the guilt in her eyes. For Real
@tadpoleangelxxx a lot of people feel intense guilt surrounding deaths. But not because they actually killed the person, it usually surrounds smaller, or perhaps big things that they think contributed, or just plague their conscience. In fact, the person who did this you would expect to see ZERO guilt. Only a true sociopath could murder like this, and sociopaths don't feel guilt. Plus, if you look at all the evidence objectively a murder by her parents simply DOES NOT MATCH UP!
ALSO if they both seem SO concerned with defending themselves AND not with the fact their daughter was MURDERED!! If they didn't do it why would they want to fuck*n cooperate??? ..... If there was an intruder they didn't HEAR anything?? SOOO much of the evidence points to these ppl being involved. THIS CASE MAKES ME SICK AND THESE PEOPLE MAKE ME WANT TO THROW UP
@laurachis What could be their MOTIVE or PURPOSE for killing her though??? I cannot figure it out, such a pretty girl. What parents in their RIGHT MIND would do this????
@jklfds85 Motive - exactly! There is no motive - I can't find one. By all accounts they were great parents, involved with their kids, lived a very comfortable life and no history of violence. But with the police after them, then the media next onboard to exploit and twist every detail, then the public thinks they did it too - how could they fight all that? They were fighting for their lives - they had to get on TV to speak for themselves because others were twisting the facts.
why the hell wouldn't you check the house IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS MISSING! Wouldn't that be the FIRST thing you do??? Reguardless of the randsom note.... there's weird sh*t involved in this case (more than we know)... important people in important places.. I think they are INVOLVED....
@laurachis Well, they did look, but they didn't find her at first. My guess is when they found the ransom note, they became convinced she was kidnapped . . . which is not an unreasonable assumption. And remember, it was a huge house, and JonBenet was found in the basement, in the farthest corner.

On May 24, John and Patsy Ramsey underwent lie-detector tests conducted by Ed Gelb (a past president of the American Polygraph Association) and announced that the findings had cleared them of any involvement in their daughter's death
Gelb's findings were later reviewed and confirmed by Cleve Baxter, founder of the Central Intelligence Agency's polygraph unit and creator of polygraph scoring techniques
Polygraph tests are not admitted into evidence for very good reason. I've just counted 27 products in my home, from cream of tartar to epsom salts, that can effect the outcome of a polygraph. This might help explain why the Boulder Police still consider the Ramseys as suspects long after those 2000 polygraphs were administered.
On July 9, 2008, John and Patsy Ramsey were officially cleared in the death of JonBenét by the Boulder District Attorney's office based on DNA evidence. I agree with you that lie detectors are not 100% accurate, but people still talk about the Ramseys like it's common knowledge that they did it. I believe it is very harmful that people have been judging them for decades and I just tried to show evidences that point to another direction.
Mary Lacy's famous "Letter of exoneration," has been lambasted by the current DA and the Boulder PD. The Ramsey's are still very much suspects, but the follow up stories regarding that didn't have the fantastic headline that, "Ramsey's cleared by new DNA," did.
Until a suspect is found and charged in direct correlation to that DNA, John and Patsy Ramsey are still suspects, as much as anyone else is.
The "Letter of exoneration," was an unusual step, but so is portraying someone as a murderer before conviction. The DA and Boulder PD merely pointed out that it is a mistake to make such a statement regarding an ongoing investigation and I can understand that. On the other hand they were not that careful earlier, pointing fingers at the parents. Two wrongs don't make one right, but it was around time that the media publicized evidence that point away from the Ramseys .
The Ramseys acted stupid, no question about it, but being an idiot and being a murderer are different things. Also the police should know better, giving away little pieces to the media is always harmful. I really hope it wasn't deliberate and they just simply did not have the experience in dealing with them. " innocent until proven guilty" is fundamental, because there is no way to compensate the damages of such a slander.
Any evidence leading suspicion away from the Ramseys is either not admissible or has other possible explanations, eg. they were at a party the night of the murder, Patsy or Jonbenet could have picked up the unidentified DNA there and transferred it when Patsy changed Jonbenet for bed. Sadly, what evidence there is in this case was so badly contaminated by poor crime scene preservation that I doubt that the existing evidence would even be allowed if ANYONE were to eventually be brought to trial.
i just think something is not right with this case. i dont think kidnappers break into a house and bring with them no weapons or tools, and just hoping they find them in the house?i am sure if it was a kidnapper she would have been removed from the house.if they were planning on writing a ransom note, what if there was no pen and paper in view, would the kidnapper have just left with jonbenet and no note?patsy was the only writing sample that could not be elimated as the author of the ransom note
The family did it. The ransom note matches Patsy Ramsey's handwriting. End of story.
