No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young dedicated producer, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my music has a unique individual style.
If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.
Thanks people for commenting on this video. I see you'd like more detail, and I'll try to make some more detailed garageband videos later in the year. I'm thinking a course in all the basics may be good - there are loads of great tutorial videos out there but can't find an up to date one that teaches everything sequentially...
@motherfuker2u yes, you can do that easily. The quality will be dependent on your microphone (and interface if you have one). So, if you record with the built-in mic on your mac, don't expect it to sound particularly great. If you get an audio interface (you can get them under $100) and a decent mic (the more you spend, the better it will be - probably a condenser mic for acoustic guitar, but dynamic if you want to do voice too) you can record something that will be great. ALWAYS wear headphones
I wanted to hear what the whole song file sounded like with all those loops! It seems like it would have been a very interesting composition to listen to; but we only got to hear some individual tracks.
Great video!! I'd like to see how you did this, like from scratch. From the top, sort of speak. I'm learning to use my garage band and I'd like to know how to do this.
Psst!? ... It's called When Doves CRY.

Hello James - now that is what I call a tutorial! That's the first video that applies a clear close up shot of what you are doing. Many thanks..
