nothing like watching a kick ass ken in action..he is in my opinion the most dangerous character in the game in the hands of the right person. He has good life, he does great damage, his combos are sick as you can see here and he is a very fast character. Only weakness is that it is hard to land his ultra unless you juggle into it and then it loses a lot of its damage.

Ken is a very fast character when it comes to attacks, his life is also only 50 points lower then ryu's which is pretty high. His ex dragon punch and tatsu do MAJOR DAMAGE. He's got at least 4 VERY HIGH damaging combos without ultra being included. His ultra is one of the highest damaging in the game 560points.

Ken has fast normals, yes. EX versions of most of the cast's specials do a lot of damage, Ken isn't special there. The rest of the cast also scores a knockdown on most EX specials too, Ken doesn't.
If you can't see why walk speed is important in sf, you don't understand the game (although that was already evident).

@Renji0963 most of the time online you see people who will only use two of those options to counter u. I would expect to see everyone of the options you put in tounement play. But im a defensive and offensive player equally. I noticed that I get grab no matter what im pressing/holding if the opponent knows how to exploit the move. I rarely do it with ken because usually if they have someone with anti air its usually going to be faster than kens recovery.

For one the annuocer is more vocal in the Arcade version. He doesn't talk nearly as much in the Console versions. I also noticed the music changes three times thoughout the fight, not just two times. They did the same thing to SFIII Third Strike. The Arcade version had three music changes, but the console versions only had two (except the Dreamcast Version)
Mann the Balrog player doesn't really know how to deal with crossups i guess.. This ken kills however i like Inoue's Bison more. But 1:24 holy shit predicting Balrog's movement backdash to super, that's what I call skills

When Ino won, it was epic because he completely beat the fuck out of Aiku. When Aiku won, he was turtling for the whole time and he even missed a few chances to land the ultra which would have sealed that round.

@gunslinger3333 yeah because i was watching this vid n im thinking why is this guy doing a hurricane kick nearly every combo yeah its a good move but most likely can get countered because of the opponents recovery compared to his recovery from the move its barely noticable but ken can be punished after it if u do the wrong thing.

@tomotombo it depends on what you do, because ken and your opponent both have many options after the move . For example, after tatsu, ken can either
A. Grab If he thinks the opponent will block upcoming moves
B. Do a shoryuken if he thinks the opponent will try to counter ken with a grab/jab
C. Block if he thinks the opponent will do a reversal
D. Do an empty jump if he knows the opponent will attempt to grab him, ending up with a punishing combo
E. Play it safe, and do some crouching jabs

@Renji0963 most of the time online you see people who will only use two of those options to counter u. I would expect to see everyone of the options you put in tounement play. But im a defensive and offensive player equally. I noticed that I get grab no matter what im pressing/holding if the opponent knows how to exploit the move. I rarely do it with ken because usually if they have someone with anti air its usually going to be faster than kens recovery.

I just realized the Arcade version is better than the home console and PC versions. They cut out the extra touches in the home versions.

For one the annuocer is more vocal in the Arcade version. He doesn't talk nearly as much in the Console versions. I also noticed the music changes three times thoughout the fight, not just two times. They did the same thing to SFIII Third Strike. The Arcade version had three music changes, but the console versions only had two (except the Dreamcast Version)

because the round was over any EX meter uses (focus cancel) don't count and the EX meter carries over to the next round

Balrog(Boxer) in USA is M.Bison in Japan
Vega(Claw) in USA is Balrog in Japan
M.Bison(Dictator) in USA is Vega in Japan

When Ino won, it was epic because he completely beat the fuck out of Aiku. When Aiku won, he was turtling for the whole time and he even missed a few chances to land the ultra which would have sealed that round.
