  • dude you were right behind me here

  • Awesome game....Go Noles...Farewell Bobby Bowden you will be missed

  • @janitorsdisease WVU is gonna be tough next year. Hopefully u guys win the big east next year!

  • Good luck to WVU next year as well, I am a FSU fan.

  • So, WVU steps out of the Big Least and loses to a 6-6 football team. Add to that the destruction of Cincinnati by the Gators and it's pretty clear where that The Big Least shouldn't get an automatic BCS berth. Pat White is gone WVU fans. You had your 4 year run. As for Bowden, see ya. Remember how you left the cupboard bare at WVU before you left?

  • FSU fan here. The Big East is not that weak... Considering Cinci was without their head coach I don't think it is that bad to lose 1 game to one of the best teams in the country. WVU, South FLa, Uconn. Pitt, and Rutgers are all legitimate teams. Uconn did beat an Sec team 20-7 and Pitt held out to one of the best defenses in the country.

BTW, Bowden left WVU with a Peach bowl victory and a 9-3 overall record.

  • @DanR811 He left with a 9-3 record and a Peach bowl win but left nothing for his succesor, Frank Cignetti.

  • @MelC54 Who do you think should get an automatic BCS berth? The WAC? XD

  • @MusicOfAdam Mountain West Conference, Western Athletic Conference, Conference USA....any one of them have teams just as good as the Big Least.

  • @MelC54 Boise State is the only refined team from the WAC. TCU is the Mountain West's only hope, and they're cutting it too damned close. As for Conference USA, they have yet to actually beat a lower-tier SEC team. Imagine how bad it would be in a BCS bowl.

  • @MusicOfAdam Who has that mighty juggernaut Syracuse beaten lately? Oh yeah, West Virginia.

  • @MelC54 I wasn't calling WVU a juggernaut.

  • @MusicOfAdam There are no juggernauts in the Big Least.

  • @MelC54 Boise State is the only WAC team that would stand a chance. MWC has only TCU, and they're cutting it too damned close. C-USA champs haven't won the Liberty Bowl against a lower-tier SEC team yet; imagine how bad it would be if it were against a Juggernaut in a BCS bowl.

  • Yea we definitely have the best QB in the state, possibly even Nation next year. It is absurd how Underrated Christian Ponder is. Just because we had a shity team this year, hell he is the reason we won 5 of the games. He put us in contention to win 10 this year but NO D

  • Congratz FSU !!! Bobby Bowden !!! I am WVU fan , started out great for us but i found it fitting Bobby win his last game !!!

  • @MrPopyotop

I was there at the game and had a chance to talk with some WVU fans. I really enjoyed them, this was a really compassionate time, as WVU embraced Bobby just as much as us. Thanks for your support. You guys will have much success in the near future as well. Noel kept my heart rate up pretty much the whole game.

  • Not next year, we will be good next year but we have to give those recruits at least a year in college to mature if not two. But yes FSU is stealing recruits from multiple schools, and I like what I am seeing thus far out of Jimbo.

  • @DaNoles1999

I agree that our defense will take at least a year but true freshmen like Graig Reid is the best returner in the nation!!!

But thats probably more instinct where those new players on defense will need to learn the looks of offenses and zones etc.

Our offense will be top 10, WE ONLY HAVE 1 SENIOR ON OFFENSE LEAVING THIS YEAR :)!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a sick offense this will be next season and all the 5 star recruits on defense. FSU is back on a WARPATH! I am noticing that all greats from the 80s and 90s are back on the rise (Nebraska, Miami, FSU, VT)

Sorry to say it but without Tebow and a 'Shock and awe' Meyer, UF is on a downslide. They will lose 3 or 4 games next year.

    2010: FSU 28 UF 12

  • Thanks Bobby for an awesome career. I can't believe it but it is good to know that I am graduating the year you retire. My college career was flogged with losses but you are truly setting up the start of a new dynasty!

As for Tebow, glad to see you are leaving, you had an excellent career as well.
