Speed and stability. If they are controlled, you stay shiny side up. Just for experienced riders. Good to have the skills in an emergency.

I took my C90 out in the snow, I wanted to get some petrol so when I came back I decided to come back via the back road where no-one had driven down for about a week. Its amazing how much safer you feel when you keep your feet down I found, don't know about you? Good video 5*

@bartonlane Hi Daniel, yes it really does help!  If one of the wheels has a little slip then you can correct it quite easily. Certainly makes me feel safer when I ride in the snow!

Dave, is that amount considered a large snowfall where you live? Looks to me like about 6 to 8 inches. We frequently get greater amounts here in Pennsylvania and it makes driving automobiles a potentially treacherous situation. Take it easy my friend!

@briansfarm1, dress warm, wear a leather coat and leather chaps, warm gloves, helmet with face shield or full face helmet, and you're good to go, i ride all year round, i will not ride in winter rain, snow, ice or freezing rain
