Just because there are others out there committing crimes for you to compare yourself to, doesn't get you off the hook when you violate the law. It's funny how some people like you can make a stereotypical statement like we are "one in the same, especially in Texas" but if an officer should all of a sudden it's "discrimination". All sworn officers are tools to enforce the law but in the 14 years I have been in law enforcement I have never been told what to do other than to do my job.
