I would love to know who wrote this and what it is all about?I did look it up on the computer but nothing about this that i could see though i didnt look thoroughly.
This is early and is in the 1918 HMV catalogue which lists the correct speed as 82!, which well and truly shows it's age. Bransby Williams (1879- 1961) career spanned Music Hall to Television. A wonderful recitation on a lovely 1910's label. Thanks for that.

I am Bransby williams Grandson and i and my two daughters are his only living decendents, so I donot knw how rossmeister92 can be related.

This is really an extremely rare gem, indeed displaying truly Victorian pathos.... oh well... this will resound for a long time in my ears...
