  • ho what did you use to attach your bulb inside the tank without using a bulb

  • This is what I don't understand. You buy a pet snake but they sell them because they are too big or what ever. Am I the only one that gets attached to my pet? I could never sell him. A lot of snake owns just don't have a heart to love these creatures!

  • @Oldskool01Hakken the day my dad sold them i was crying for a week, it was like loosing my sister or something im just like you it just doesnt seem like it though

  • @JOSHREPTIKID Sorry to hear that mate. I'm glad there is someone out there like me. I love me carpet python Mustaine. He's a legend and he is a part of my family even tho the misses doesn't think so HAHAHA. Where in Australia are you from?

  • @Oldskool01Hakken yehh thats sick were like bro's, i live north of newcastle, nsw

  • @JOSHREPTIKID Yeah bro im in Penrith.

  • @Oldskool01Hakken sweet bro

  • oh cool how mutch you selling her ? where about in australia are you

  • hey man nice tank how mutch did you pay for your snakes im in aus aswell ?

  • @MoschellacuzZ around $350, but im selling her now. she is much bigger

  • nice snakes

  • awww I love your accent so cute...nice cages too by the way and beautiful breed of snake you have ;) I was going to get a carpet python but I rescued a 4ft red tailed boa recently and with my other baby thats going to get big which is my nile monitor, I just haven't got the space figured out yet

  • @Littlenipper55 thanks, she is getting big now but i have to sell her soon, my parents dont want her anymore, i love boas

  • @JOSHREPTIKID awww that sucks! Why don't they want her anymore???

  • @Littlenipper55 my parents want to travel more and the power bill is massive, if i am ever going to get a new snake ill get a green tree python

  • @JOSHREPTIKID that sounds like a plan but you know I've heard that carpet pythons don't need any special lighting and to save power I just keep my room usually around 80 and put a 100wt light on one side of my reptiles cage where his basking spot is and that regulates the cage and it stays at the temp that they need. I know what you mean my electric bill is high I guess considering I have at least 5 lights plugged in for my reps and 5 fish tank filters lol

  • @Littlenipper55 i guess thats a good idea, i have like 3 filters too lol

  • They do not need uv lighting...

  • @Kupo969 not all snakes need uv lights but its better to have it then to not have one

  • @JOSHREPTIKID No, not really. They get all their calcium from the rodents they eat. I'm not saying it will harm them, but completely unnecessary and a waste of money.

  • @Kupo969 yeh i guess owell i dont pay for the power bill, lol

  • why not just use UTH? flexwatt...cheaper and better just a suggestion.

  • @dinhy34 i have never heard of that, ill research it thanks bro

  • Nice set up, You some some cuel viv's on here with no real regard for the snakes needs. You seemed to have got everything covered :o)

  • @RobT985 yeh thanks bro i should do another update :)

  • Why you got lamps for snakes btw ? they need belly heat for digesting.. just saying anyway nice vivs

  • @TedWinni thanks for the comment, thats what i was trying to do with the rock under the light it gets warm and whenever i feed her and i put her back in her cage she goes straight ontop of the rock.

  • Im from australia, from queensland!! And im in canada now :D

  • Comment removed

  • its really expensive in australia :p

  • @ReidHarris7 yeh it can be but the murray darlings, jungles, carpets, bredli, can be a reasonable price (around $200-450 depending on size) i might be breading my murray darling in next year (2011)

  • Did you make or buy the heat lamp enclosures you have over the bulbs? Also, how do they come off when you have to change the bulb?

  • @itlnstln65 we bought the lamp covers they are so expensive the one u see there costs $50 AUS when u have a lamp cover big enough you can have a hinge on one end but the one iv got is just screw in. thanks for commenting on my vid :)

  • @COBRA16661 i keep the uv light on so they are defenetaly comfortable. somedays this changes because the sun can go behind this massive tree in our back yard and it blocks the sun so the snakes get no uv but any way u get the point and thanks fo the comment :)

  • that shed was a really gd one

  • thanx ever sinse i got her she has shed very well.

  • @conswarp yeh i took him out and made a cage in my room and he is in it now but they actually loved eachother.

  • soz i didnt mean to say heat rock its actually the heat from the light going down into the rock and warming it up and it doesnt get to hot anyway i can hold my hand on it and its hardly even warm. my murray darling is now 1.3 meters long and the jungle is now in the big cage with the murray darling.

  • Sorry what? You have the Jungle in the same enclosure as the MD? I wouldnt do that as eventually the bigger snake will eat the smaller one.

    Just a heads up.

  • damn! nice ass set up

  • thanx :)

  • r u auststran thats swwet i suck at spelling

  • if you were trying to say australian well yes i am australian

  • ahh icic.

i mis-understood you. nice looking snakes btw, bro

  • no dice man.

heat rocks are a no go!!!

  • its not a heat rock the warmth from the heat light heats the rock up.

  • hey mate, that MD setup looks sweet as. nice job : )
