Thanks guys. This means alot to alot of people. I am a volenteer firefighter in NSW but was in vic with the fires for 10 days out of a fortnight. I know its not as long as some CFA guys and my hat dose go off to you all. I love this song and it makes me proud to be a flamin aussie. I have listened to this a hundred times and a hundred times I have cried. I am a Kinglaker who was trapped with no escape, watching death coming up the mountain to kill me and mine in the guise of a beautifu tangerine colour. Never will I be able to describe the utter terror I felt watching it. I and mine lived, lost nothing but fences while my neighbours lost everything. The CFA are my heroes, they sheltered me and I lived. I am listening to the song, crying while writing this message.

The horror of the huge loss of life, homes animals, flora and fauna, the gigantic fire everywhere, flying burning embers on the massive hot wind and the terror of not being able to escape will be with me for the rest of my life. People have moved on, very much changed from who they were, so many still suffering emotionally.

WOW! Im in the RFS from NSW and one of the first trucks form NSW to get into victoria and into action. To see 2 farmers who had 15yrs of conflick to put that aside and help each other save thier farms reiterates the a pride found nowhere else in the world. The ANZACs showed it in WWI, and it continues today. I love Australia, I love its people, and I love thier pride.

i am so proud to be australian. when the bush fires raged through victoria, everyone was doing anything and everything they could. if you ask me, australians are like one big family. we all care for each other. this video gives me goosebumps and never fails to bring me to tears, and i'm so glad that we have such generous hearts across our nation. well done guys in producing such an amazing song and video.
