He was also in the Final Fantasy: The Last Mission, it's the anime in which Sephiroth goes crazy and in which Zacks and Cloud get surrounded by soldiers, tho I think he doesn't die in anime too. Hope I helped =)

Yeah. It's from Crisis Core for the PSP. It's Genesis and Angeal against Sephiroth. Although it was a fight just for fun. Genesis turned it serious and that's the fight that you see develop in this video.
