A hot box can mean anything you want it to. It has to have more than what you are supposed to get in some way. I bought a 3-pack box of 2008 UD Ballpark Collection and then I bought a single pack of it and I got way more cards than I was supposed to get in the packs I got in the 3 pack box. I got all kinds of autos and stuff more than I was supposed to get. I posted it as a video response so you can see...

I don't know if they made it on purpose. But this was a nice box. I ussualy consider anything with double the amount of hits or more a hot box.

That was a "hot box". Those kind of boxes produce more hits than average. You can't buy one, you have to buy several and hope you find one.
