  • Love, love, love it !!!!!!! Thanks for sharing.

  • Love it Jenny! Thanks for sharing it with us :)

  • Gixxerkim, Crossing the center line would be...using a step touch taking your right arm and reaching across your body line or on a diagonal for the opposite side of the room. It just takes a few minutes into an active warmup and then you may cross your center line.

  • I am, as well as a personal trainer...but you make a very valid point! I have smaller classes and know my students very well...most of them come into my class already warmed up. If you are new to teaching or have a larger class that has new participants often, I would definitely bump this routine down in the lineup :)

  • GixxxerKim, I would not use this routine as part of my warm up either. I would say because of the extra bouncing[which I love] I would wait until at least 4 or 5 songs into my routine. You might want to get Group Fitness Certified if you aren't already:)

  • Do a slower warm up first and then do this as #2 or #3 :)

  • Its GREAT, then only thing I wonder about is that it is a warm up song, but its kinda fast to warm up to, and uses a LOT of hip movement and core. I was told MULTIPLE times that I need to stay away from that in a warmup. This morning I did it myself and realized the hard way, that hip movements too early can pull muscles. I yanked a hip flexor for the first time. Anyone ever mention something like 'no crossing the center line' during warmup? Just asking.

  • @GixxxerKim 'No crossing the center line' - can you explain that?

  • @PrincessVespa21 When I took my instructor class with Tanya, she said during warm up time, not to cross/twist around the centerline of the body. She said stick to up down arms, with no core twisting. Keep it simple until 8-15 mins in and heartrate is up. I decided the other day I was warm enough after 5 mins, and pulled a hip flexor. So I was the product of that mistake. I'm not trying to be offensive. Your choreo is GREAT and your cues are right on! I love your videos.

  • Love it!
