The lyric shows a philosophical point of view, in one easy but so misunderstood, word, I would say: nihilism. Its all the same, its all nothing, they show that distinguishing girls by their size, a physical and (so even more) irrelevant aspect. Its like a nihilism anthem, this song, I like it.

I remember reading an interview with John, where he talked about how upset he was, after coming up with this amazing, floating guitar, to then have Moz add silly Carry On-esque lyrics to it! I can certainly understand Johnny's frustration there but I can also understand Moz' point of view.

After all, Morrissey is no musician. He's a lyricist (and as good a lyricist as they come!)

That said. The guitar is just beautiful. Could be the best thing Johnny ever created and Moz's decision to stick those lyrics to that particular score was tragic and if Marr's work wasn't quite as brilliant, I'd say it had been spoilt.

That music deserved to be put with some of Morrissey's very best and most thoughtful writing.

I can almost imagine that Moz used those lyrics just out of spite, in a passive aggressive swipe at John. I just hope M didn't understand it's greatness.
