  • I think it is overdrive. Do you play on neck pickup ?

  • do you know the pedal settings? PLEASE

  • boomin

  • is that a fender?

  • My band doesn't have a rhythm guitarist yet cuz he's busy with another project, do you think its ok if we replace rhythm guitarist with bass? something like your style? we're looking for simple, low key riffs for the rhythem. What do you think? I'm not a bass player :D thats why im asking you.

  • @ChoreoProBoy It'd be different but Lemmy of Motorhead is pretty much a rythm guitarist with his bass playing style, he uses short chords turns his bass level right down and I heard he even plays it through a guitar amp because theres so little bass he doesn't blow them this also makes motorhead an aggressive sounding band but two bassist may work you'll need different sounds from them though

  • YEAHHHHHHHH TORTEX!!!! hahaha i want that pedal it sounds very Chris Wolstenholmy

  • LEAD BASS FTW

  • ciao stefano! mio mucha gusto tuo videos! i voilio subscibere tutti!

  • TAB PLEASE!!

  • what's the point of bass distortion? do bands even use it?

  • @AnthonyYaff All the time. Best example I can think of is Muse, but a lot of the time they go all the way and use fuzz which is the same breed of sound.

  • @AnthonyYaff yep, motorhead, metallica (with cliff burton)...

  • nice ashdown in the back.

  • All good as a novelty but you can certainly have too much of this. I think JPJ got the mix pretty right on the crooked vultures album. Its fuzz not distortion

  • In the pocket very nice!

  • now THAT'S a fat tone

  • gallien krueger amp?

  • no it's an ashdown but well i'd sell it for a gk ;)

  • awesome insane great! 5/5

  • what kinda bass is that i understand its a jazz style bass but what brand??

  • probably fender

  • fender made in mexico

  • cool!

  • that sounds badass real good for fast shit. what pedal is it?

  • is this the bass big muff pi?

  • or the little big muff pi?

  • it says little muff in the description

  • oh shit never mind it says little big haha

  • little big muff, search it on google ;)

  • Yeah playing those dunlop yellows. I see it on your desk.

  • yeah asdasd ;)

  • How does the Big Muff differ from a regular boss distortion pedal? I'm thinking about buying one.

  • think i'm a bit late, btw little big muff is a FUZZ pedal

  • Ah. I see. What's the difference?

  • dude, where do you find drum machines like that. I don't want a regular old metronome. I want the feel of me being on stage and my drummer giving a beat that doesn't tick.. I want somemore rhythm.

  • you should do a cover of call of ktulu or improvise a solo then for whom the bell tolls=)

  • lol, reminding you of cliff burton much?

  • yeah, he used a big muff afterall

  • Yuck lol

  • big muff is a fuzz pedal, not distortion

  • I like bass distortion, awesome!!!

  • man i want that too awesome amazing sound

    beautifull jazzbass anyway

  • why are some people against bass distortion?

  • I'm not against it. o_o

    I think it sounds kickass.

  • idk, im not, i think its awesome

  • Well this isn't actually distortion but a lot of people don't like it because it can often take away from the tone and thereby the actual "bass" of the bass.

  • @goldturtwig ...A little is cool...but most of these vids, its just waaay too much.

It would sound like muck playin with a band.

  • @goldturtwig jealous guitarists

  • @goldturtwig cause it kinda sounds like a guitar with distortion (i'm not against bass distortion)

  • @goldturtwig

because it is a bass not a guitar

  • @denniesloot18 Technically still a guitar, just 4 strings and an octave lower :P hence it being called a bass guitar xD

  • O.o its got a p-bass neck, but jazz bass pickups..

    what exactly is it?

  • :50 sounds like Some Kind of Monster :P

  • it does!

  • wow dude awesome. so crunchy i wanna eat pringles and gravle now. lol.

  • good job.

  • sweet!

  • this bigg muff its only for bass ??

    or guitar?

  • how much pedal cost?

  • An LBM is like $65 i think

  • about 75-85€ for bass

  • So are all E/H Muff pedals allright for bass? Or will some cut out at low tones?

  • the russian one doesn't cut your lows as much as the others but all distortions will cut your lows.

you might want to consider using a blend pedal to blend your clean in or bi-amp with one amp clean and one dirty.

  • Without pedal????

    COol Men

  • "Lords of Acid - I Sit On Acid"?

  • that soudns awsome!!!

  • Sounds like a fuzz ^^ like it, i play with fuzz n its more rich than distortion pedal's

  • was that distortion an amp setting or with a pedal/box?

  • pedal

  • woot yellow tortex pick on the table

  • lol dude, lol.... xD

  • nice :D

  • Thats really good man!

  • volume 11 tone 2 sustain 2/3

bass fender made in mexico (very lucky because it's perfect, no ghost notes, a great sustain and excellent tuning)

amp ashdown five15 (actually, not good as it seems, it's very dark, especially playing with fingers)

  • very cool sound, very cool...:)
