All I am gonna say is all you haters why don't you go out and try to sing in freezing weather. It's not easy. I'm a singer and I just recently had to sing in cold New York weather and it is really bad for your vocal chords. So yeah she wasn't as good here.

I do like Taylor and her songs, but this version of Silent Night is terrible. If you do a cover of a song, make sure it does sound like the song.

@Jasreeeen Look, she is a below average singer. No I cannot sing better than her, but I do not have a record deal. Yes, there are plenty of singers out there who can't sing a lick. And yes, Taylor Swift is one of them. Her albums sold and her shows sold out because teenage girls are tone-deaf and obsessive. Her album songs all go through studio production so it sounds like she hits the right notes. When her fans finally grow up, she will be gone, like all the other pop-teen-fads.

i like this version of silent night but i wish someone who could actually sing high notes without squeaking them out would sing it. taylor is an ok singer within a certain range but once she goes past that range she loses all of her power and just barely sings the high notes

Ok I can understand a little bit why you guys think she sounds bad, but imagine it's christmas in Rockerfeller in NYC, imagine how hard it is to talk in that cold of weather and how breathing itself can hurt your chest (I'm from FL never seen snow and even I know this) Now imagine trying to play the guitar with cold fingers AND sing, I think she did amazing and it doesn't really falter too much from the CD's version.
