I use to pull on my eye while putting liner on, but thats when i used a 97 cents non-creamy pencil. But now that I use urban decay pencil liner and since its creamy, I kinda put it on like a liquid liner. So if your liner is creamy, you could use that technique. With the water line, I just tilt head forward, looking up in the mirror and line my waterline with my urban decay liner.

I have the same issue with the eye pulling while putting on eyeliner (and I'm a few years older and don't have wrinkles from it yet, and that's w/ 20 years of gentle pulling) but I did see another tutorial where they actually kind of pull up to keep the eyelid firm. It's hard to describe, but if you close your eye and kind of put a finger on or above your crease and lightly lift it really helps. Thanks for all the tips and tutorials you put out there for us all! Or instead of using pencil liner on the top, you should try getting the hang of liquid liner. You don't really have to pull your eye, you just slide it on.

OH! BTW, about the pulling on the eyes...for your waterline, a good trick I learned from another youtuber is to take your finger and press under your eye and then push UP and it sorta protrudes that waterline area and you can apply the color onto it! (Jjacks48...I hope I didn't get her number wrong...she's the one I learned that from)

I forgot about this when I commented earlier...but do you have any of the the 24/7 Urban Decay pencils?  Those are REALLY easy to apply to the top without pulling on your eye. I have the same exact problem and the 24/7 is the only eyeliner pencil I don't even have to hold my eye when I'm putting it on cuz it's so creamy! :)
